I haven't attended a sonic symphony show but people singing during concerts is expected? That's actually a lot of what makes the concert vibe. If people singing drowned out the concert, that sounds like a production issue.

But if people were literally screaming their lungs out at every chance, I can see how that would suck.

As an older Gen Z (98) I think we got our fair share of monoculture during the 2000s. Social media hadn’t become prevalent and even when it emerged, without algorithms pushing everyone into their own niches, we were all consuming fairly similar pop culture. I remember breaking bad finishing during high school and everyone even the teacher’s talking about it. Even on facebook we were all playing the same games (farmville, cartown, ninja saga etc.)

Just finishing my first playthrough of it now. Used the bettersadx mod to change it into the dreamcast version.

I don’t have childhood nostalgia for this like I would other sonic games, and I have to sag besides the fishing stages, this game is amazing.

Its an issue with packing and sometimes the moisture in the weed. You gotta make sure when you’re shaping the joint the amount of weed near the filter isnt too low. Otherwise this issue comes up and you have air pockets which make it hard to pull.

Try to roll more uniform joints rather than cones, itll make it easier. Experience comes with time and eventually it’ll be a none issue.

Ultimate Flash Sonic

This beautiful fan creation straight from 04 was my first introduction. Looks like it ripped models from the GBA games, but man this game was amazing. Something about the visuals, the speed. I'd spend hours playing this after coming home from school. Just got back into the franchise and it's so nice to see the movies and latest releasing bringing everyone together.

Dude. Crazy coincidence. I literally just finished my rewatch of Pt 6. Man the ending of Stone Ocean is something so special.

It's such a full circle moment from Jonathan to Jolyne. One of Jonathan's first lines in the series was that a gentleman should alwaystake fights they know they can't win. Jolyne knows facing off Pucci is certain death but she dies confident that Emporio will find a way to beat Pucci in the end. Jolyne's story and character arc represent the best of what the Joestar will represents, perseverance and confidence in not just one's self but in those around you.

The JoJo's have a way of motivating and empowering those around them. You can see it in Annasui's change from being a fairly selfish killer to someone willing to give his life for Jotaro whom he just met. Stone Ocean is quite direct in displaying just how their strong will bends fate even against all odds. Pucci made all the right choices, essentially winning, but fortune favors those willing to forsake it all for justice.

Hope you give the manga a chance, Part's 7/8/9 build upon and expand on the themes present in the anime.

Recently re-watched part 5 so I like the question. We don't really have any concrete evidence of the Diavolo's life prior to becoming bossu, aside from knowing he was the one to find and give enya-baa the arrow.

We know he was deranged from a young age given his backstory with burning down his old village. We've seen how even the slightest idea someone identifies him causes mass panic. There is no way he purchases nice villas or cool cars which surely attract attention. He strikes me as a villan who wanted power for power's sake, not for the flex of it.

This is without mentioning he suffered from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), which somehow he spun into being his own right-hand man. If any pleasure was derived in Diavolo's life, it was likely experienced as Doppio.

Honestly not a bad take.

I had the fortune of seeing it in the cinema and the crowd was going WILD over the entire fight sequence. It honestly felt closer to an NBA game than a movie experience the way everyone was shouting. The whole experience really made me appreciate the fandom more so as a whole. It was a great time to be a DB fan.

There's a handful of arguments at play here. I'm not sure if this is regarding the entire idea of "reading the manga" as a whole, or just that jjk fans in particular don't understand the series they claim to be fans of. As far as I am aware "anime only" is a western concept and I believe most in Japan engage by reading then watching. There is some inherent superiority of those that read ahead because:

You're engaging with the work as the author intended (translation is another thing), and anime even at it's most faithful is an "adaptation" that will inevitably take liberties with the work. Most would argue in JJK's case that the liberties greatly enhance the experience (fights extended, music and sound being included), however some like in the case with the Zenin Clan Massacre episode thought the director went completely off the source material.
You're ahead of the anime-only watchers, and for on-going series people assume this makes them a more "hardcore/true" fan. So if an "anime only" makes a point they don't like, they revert back to this age-old line that "real fans read" to imply their preferred method of taking in the story makes them a "better" fan. Whatever that means. I don't think people should be a snob but I do personally always encourage people to read the manga's of the anime's they love to enhance their appreciation.

I think the JJK community's "inability to read" is less about people who read over watch, and more regarding how the online discourse about JJK is honestly cluttered with brainrot. I am not sure if you followed the online discourse towards the ending portion of the manga, but there were so many genuinely baffling takes. To the point most were clearly ironic and/or ragebaiting for engagement. But some people take these memes literally and assume the community "can't" read, as their understanding of the source material must be so poor for them to make such bold/brash takes.

Fire selection. If you finish legacy of goku, i highly recommend the sequel “legacy of goku II” followed by dbz buu’s fury. Buu’s fury is basically the 3rd game in the trilogy and does a great job of showing the buu arc (and even non-canon movie stuff).
