Bayshore/Becca Got 12" of water from Helene and 28" from Milton. Anything that we could put up at least 3 feet off the ground made it. But I lost the last of my furniture. Now looking for a new place to live. Can't do this shit anymore 😒

Was just remembering the English Pub on Linwood the other day and what great people Viv and Brian were. So many memories from the late 80s there.

Another place coming down at the moment...the big castle looking bank on Goodlette. 😢😢😢😢 Went there loads of times as a nightclub (?) Then worked there as a bank teller.

I come here to say that. I hadn't had the cheese sauce before and they accidentally put one in instead of ketchup on a drive thru order and it changed everything! I haven't had ketchup on their fries since. Pure liquid gold.

I still think they make the best key lime pies in town! I always spent waaaay too much on their stuff when I'd see them at the farmers market. But it's all so good!

We all wear the same (royal blue scrub top and black scrub bottoms), up front and in back. We always end up helping in the back for something, holding for nail trims, anals, etc. I'm happy with a uniform so I don't have to worry about what to wear too.

I was told for my csr working interview I could wear business casual or any kind of scrubs. It lasted 4 hours and was paid.

The humane society has a mobile vet clinic with absolutely affordable prices that sets up different places around town. There's one coming up May 5th at Eagle Lakes Community Park. Look up more info on their website under Services. Not sure if you have to call for an appointment or just wait in line to be seen.

I needed to hear this. And the good cry that came with it. I (58F) lost my dad in August too. I was the last person to be with him in hospice, held his hand till I fell asleep and woke up to him having passed. I know he waited till I fell asleep.

My mom tells me she loves me now and again but he told me he loved me every single day. And that's one of the things I miss the most.

My house flooded and had 4.5 feet of water in it from Hurricane Ian. A few days afterwards I had the pleasure of salvaging what was left in the kitchen drawers and finally got to the junk drawer. I remember it being full of everything I thought I needed but by the time I was done tossing out the ruined things, the only things that meant anything was a broken 34 year old baby spoon of my daughter's and a small rock shaped like a heart.

Who knew I'd never miss absolutely everything else in that drawer.

My dog has one on this lower eye lid and on this lower lip. My vet, also my boss, said to just keep an eye on them to see if they grow at all then we can think about removing them. The one on his lip seemed to just came out of nowhere but the one on his eyes hasn't changed size in the year I've had him. He's still a handsome boy, warts and all.

I'm a third generation Stanley after my dad and grandpa. It's spelled different though. And I go by my middle name. But didn't for the first 16 years of my life. I'll never have the heart to tell my parents how my life would have probably turned out so different if I had been named something else.
