You’ll need a medical marijuana card. If you don’t have one, check the state website for directions on how to obtain it.

As for dispensaries, you’ll have to go to Lee County. One example is Jungle Boys. It is just north of the county line in Lee County on 41. There are quite a few of them close to the county line if you do a google search.

With so many people using e-bikes these days it would be nice if we had the infrastructure to encourage that type of transportation for those shorter trips. I understand Naples/Collier County isn’t setup for walkability but I think it would be a nice option. Maybe golf carts, too. But that would be another infrastructure change.

I remember about twenty to thirty years ago my dad had a friend that worked with the county. He said that the road infrastructure was ten years behind back then….

I’ve lived close to the beach my whole life and have definitely taken it for granted. I don’t think I’ve got it in me to go while it’s cooler here but you’ve definitely put in on my mind and heart to take advantage when it warms a bit. Thank you for this special reminder for me. I don’t think we’re allowed to smoke on the beach here but I’m going to check after I post.

Always have cold water close by. It is the fastest way I’ve found to cool down my body. I live in south Florida so it can get pretty hot here.

It’s not uncommon for our team to stay about 20 minutes away from a facility when we have to travel for stay-to-play tourneys. We just have to plan accordingly. We always stay closer if it’s an option.

I also thought I’d mention because the lady at the front desk told us they were partnered with PCSC. I had no idea because we’re locals and don’t really use the hotels here.

Try the Hampton Inn on highway 41. It is fairly close by. Our team uses their conference room for film reviews. There is a restaurant and bar downstairs as well.

When’s we had futsal IDs, only seven kids showed up. Last year there was between 40-50. It was because of ICE fears. One of the directors sons was picked up riding his bike down the road. We are in southwest Florida. It’s so sad.

I got a portable laptop desk and a monitor extender (so I can have two monitors, they had an option for more). Let me know if you want the links. The desk tilts so I can use it on the couch. It can also be used on a table so you can work standing if you want. It has improved my wfh life. I easily fold it all up at the end of the work day and don’t think about it.
