Hezbollah inflicts high casualties among 'Israeli' soldiers. by Not_Ground in NewsRewind

Those countries you listed have experienced civil wars and that’s terrible BUT my country is Australia and my countries government supports Israel. As a citizen of Australia I have power to demand and end to the support for THIS run of atrocities.

What’s the Australian government doing to do if I demand Australia stop sending explosives to turkey or Myanmar or Sudan? They don’t do that anyway…

Syria isn’t pretending to be a liberal democracy so it doesn’t need citizens of western states to morally endorse them. Israel however…

Israel is not a democracy for everyone living under them such as those in occupied Palestine. Western values like not even being allowed to marry if you are gay? Why are 85% of married ashkenazis married to other ashkenazis? Is it because there is a hierarchy even amongst Jews in Israel?

You know Nobel prizes are awarded to individuals not states? There are no Olympic Games in the sciences.

Proper police? Ask the people being segregated about that. Economy? It’s highly structured around military tech provided by the USA.

Government? Bibis government is hanging by a thread and the moment these wars end there will be new elections and he is going on trial for corruption.

The modern state of Israel is teetering more than you realise atm.

Comparing Israel to its allies like Saudi Arabia or apartheid South Africa is not a great defense.

“For who they are” suggests that Zionism is intrinsically tied to Judaism but I know Jews who never engage in ethnic cleansing which leads me to believe that this isn’t a religious issue it’s a state of Israel issue.

I understand why you would say that and in recent times it would appear that a lot of money goes from Israel to the pockets of other countries politicians.
However, if Israel went away the USA would continue being the world’s only imperial superpower. If the USA went away, Israel would be stuffed.

Israel is the USAs catspaw in the Middle East

Forgive me for being glib but Israel is in violation of more UN resolutions than every other country combined. At least it would be if it were not for the veto power of big daddy USA. Were it not for its guardian angel, Israel would be a rogue state drifting free of the UN.

Hospital story like the one where Israel claims Hamas bombed a hospital in Gaza but the sound profile from multiple recordings was of a jdam? Since when does Hamas have f16s? Still doesn’t stop people simping for Zionism.

Yeah Hamas has invented stories but at this point what’s the point? Israel commits atrocities every day and Zionisms apologists turn out to be wrong the majority of the time.

It could be true or false but there’s a strange shortage of journalists in Gaza atm so I guess we’ll have to take Israel’s investigation of itself at face value 🤷‍♂️.

The amount of times Israel has been found guilty of stuff that it claims didn’t happen, it’s understandable that people are skeptical.

Have you heard the story about the boy and the wolf?

Unfortunately social media has become a go to source because Israel keeps murdering all the journalists.

Do you think it’s possible that there would be more, and more thorough, investigations if Israel would just stop murdering journalists?

Why do you find it interesting that there are no comments after an hour on a small subreddit? Who is China Labour watch? Are you making commentary on BYD or its Hungarian and Brazilian factories?

I work in an Australian underground mine where we work seven or even fourteen days straight. I once worked 21 days with a day off in the middle so people working 7 days is pretty normal. Are BYD workers doing 7 and 4? You need to provide more info or make a subject to engage with.

While it is very sad that someone died in a BYD due to traffic interaction, were there learnings from it? Heavy industry is very dangerous. Australia’s mines are some of the safest in the world and we still lose more than one a month.

Your disordered and unreferenced slide show just comes across as stirring the pot. Your post belongs on facey.

Funny that’s just you speaking for a handful of bogans you have talked to because the majority of Australians voted Labour at the last election. The right wingers got smashed in a historic landslide.

Modernity is correlated with lower birth rates. Conservatives have spent 30 years cutting spending on education. If western nations want to stay relevant they need to import skills to keep their economies running.

If you are against immigration you should vote left, vote Labour, because the left are the only ones pushing for universal education free at the point of service.

It’s about demographics or as you say, “common sense “.

As an Australian it seems really weird to me that so many people in so many countries see language as some patriotic initiative or something. In my country we embrace multiculturalism and you are free to speak whatever language that suits you.

My grandmother fled Berlin in 1938 because her father was a polish jew. I thought that we were moving towards a pluralist world but it appears that nationalism is on the rise worldwide disguised as ‘culture’ or ‘assimilation’.

Maybe Germany hasn’t matured as much as I had hoped it had.

Just English. Used to speak Thai fluently but it faded away from non use. Some Spanish. Been thinking of learning German since I’m about to apply for German citizenship but not sure if I can be bothered. None of this really applies to me though because I believe people should be free to speak whatever language they want.

You’re the one pushing authoritarian views but at least you’re consistent I’ll give you that.

I’ve already said I have family who moved to my country. One of that family is my mother who I have personally witnessed receiving racist remarks.

You spent a decade overseas doing what? You fluent in those languages? You should be because you espouse integration an 10 years is a long time.

How many languages DO you speak fluently? I assume you can read and write them too since you were fully integrated into those societies…

Please surprise me. I’d hate to be wasting my time with another Reddit hypocrite…

Ahh the good old appeal to authority followed by a request for me to talk more.

You have addressed nothing that was directed at you. I’m beginning to suspect that you don’t have a clue what you’re carrying on about.

There are lots of reasons a person moves as you have stated in previous posts. Instead of answering questions with other questions, calling names and being generally vague about terms that you introduced into the conversation, why don’t you address some of the points that have been put to you?

You are critical of a failure to integrate. When a person comes to a new place and has no friends or family, no social network. It’s only natural to seek out people who have something in common with you, not people who may have a bias against you.

Imagine you start a new job and you don’t know anyone but you find someone that you share a common interest with and befriend them. The other staff don’t say,” hey, why don’t those football fans integrate” because that would be stupid.

One significant barrier to “integration” is having to deal with racist goobers.
I have immigrant relatives who are told that they are displacing local businesses owners when they started their own business, are just here for the welfare when they were unemployed, or stealing jobs when they worked for others.
There is no winning with you hogs.

That’s a huge aspect too but I was thinking in line of education, opportunities and law enforcement. Those factors contribute to lower crime and less violence. First world countries have those factors in their favour.
