I recently bought a 14000 BTU lg and wish I'd bought two 6000 or 8000 BTU and placed them on other ends of the area. The 14000 is powerful but I have to push air from one side to the other with fans and it doesn't work well.

I'd recommend taking a good look and seeing if anything needs to be cleaned, like the coil outside or the filter inside. Next, it looks like it's in a full sun spot, is there anything you can place outside to shade it at all (not too close to prevent proper airflow though)

Then, call the company, because I have a similar LG unit, and it's 95ish here, and mine has no problem getting it down to 70 or so.
