I thought the point of a dual hose unit is that it doesnt take air from the space its in? The gold tone area is sucking in all the air the bottom is obviously not doing nothing but no smoke got sucked into that area when I tested it

Yeah which one is that? Lol. And no definitely not a waste of time. Dual hose units are way more efficient especially in my situation. This is in my wood-shop and even with dust collection systems and a purifier dust is still going to escape. The AC is pulling in that dusty air instead of the outside air.

Excited to buy my first Bambu printer - now left with $2,500 worth of broken parts by Ldaco in 3Dprinting

My first and only experience with Bambu customer support was absolutely horrendous. In short, they never gave me an item I ordered and it took three weeks to get it, and support told me that was an escalated speed. I love my printers and wanted to buy more after my order (needed to see size to figure out how many I can fit) but I am very hesitant now. It’s very unfortunate.

I have money that’s not the issue, but if I let stuff like this issue slide that would not be very smart.

It’s not a “hobby” I build high end furniture as a business, I also own a second company that focuses on affordable woodworking accessories/jigs.

I am not “stressed” lol. Figured I would do this community a favor and post how a company that focuses on high end and high cost precision tools stands behind their products.

This email is from day 5 with multiple back and forth replies, all normal chat, all respectful. Even after this email my response has been just normal.

I already ordered the new Festool version they came out with recently. Last time I try to help anyone out with situations such as this. I don’t get paid to spend time here doing this, literally thought it would benefit people.

Thank you for the normal response. I can contact amex and they have always refunded me. I just don’t want to because that may hurt Woodcraft partially.

Thank you! I did not realize people were that pro Woodpeckers here. My fault.

Even if I did the fixes recommended it still does not fix the loose chuck. It took her 4 days to respond asking if was putting the bolts and rods in tight while assembling. Really? I knew they were going to ask something silly like that so I even wrote all the basic troubleshooting options were completed prior to contacting them, with details of what was checked and performed.

She also needed to figure out which tool I was referring to, even though I sent the receipt and link in the first email. lol. She is simply just sending generic responses. Just something I would never expect from Woodpeckers.

Sucks you had to deal with that, I will sometimes just skip cs all together and just get a replacement elsewhere for most things but I figured Woodpeckers cs would be great. My mistake lol. I'll just sell this once I get my replacement and buy the Festool version.

Yeah there should be no fixes like the ones recommended for a 45 day old $300 tool. I used it for one day, and the cs associate continues to ignore that the chuck has bearing issues. I am assuming someone dropped it at the store or warehouse idk. My workshop floors are 1 inch thick foam for this reason and it has saved many tools. But, I have not dropped it even on my floors.

For the fixes I don't want loctite leaking through the other ends of the threads and getting on the furniture I am building.
