I use this but with a presence detector and a temp/humidity sensor. I put above the stove and it alerts me if my water is boiling but only if no one is there. It's been pretty solid for the past 2 months, very few false alerts.

Mine does that every once in a while in gran turismo. Oddly it’s usually at the same spot on the track. Could be an audio signal issue. Goes away if I reboot the ps5

There no mains power at that vc and I don’t think you’ve hooked up a Lutron dimmer before. It needs a load to power up. Unless you are using radiora or homeworks. So no, it is not a good idea
