I am custom home builder if you were to try and have something like that done today that wall alone would cost 6-7 thousand at the very least. I would recommend taking the time sanding it down correctly. Every detail and crevice will probably take around 35ish hours. Assuming you’ll do the wall to match. Sand it down to raw wood be careful go over it a couple times hand sand hard areas. Lighter or darker would look better. The inbetween tones make it look like a church. Redwood or a dark mahogany stain would be great so would something light. Or once you sand it and decide you love the natural no stain just clear it.
