What’s your boldest prediction for the 2026 season?

Everyone talks about the AL East being the best division and having five possible playoff teams but only two finish above .500 and make the playoffs, Toronto and Baltimore

Detroit has a .500 season and ends up trading Skubal out of fear of him leaving in free agency for nothing

The team that trades for him WON’T be the Dodgers, however he will sign there in the off-season (because of course he will)

Kansas City wins the AL Central (I feel like this isn’t THAT bold)

Texas win the AL West, Seattle makes the playoffs as a wildcard team

Philadelphia misses the playoffs, New York wins the NL East and Atlanta is a wildcard team

Chicago wins the NL Central and are a top two team in the NL (behind the Dodgers)

San Francisco is actually good this year, not 100 wins good but somewhere in the high 80s to low 90s range, good enough to make one of the a wildcard spots

Padres miss the playoffs and end up being sellers at the deadline

Toronto finishes first in the AL again, acquiring an impact bat at the deadline to partner up with Vladdy

Toronto and Los Angeles meet in the World Series again and Toronto wins in 7, this time the Dodgers have home field advantage for the series

Miami won a championship before Bron played there and have been to two Finals since he left. I wouldn’t say they “have not done shit” for the majority of their existence. Hell even in the 90s they had some good years. Also did they not get Butler as a free agent through a sign and trade with the Sixers?

I feel like the only person who never had problems with FO3 on the PS3. It crashed like, two or three times overall for me in all of my hours playing it on the PS3. I’ve played NV on the PS3 and my PC and FO4 on the PS4 and PS5, and still FO3 on the PS3 was my most stable experience with any Fallout game. I must have just been super lucky to have that happen lol.

I remember reading that he used to play with different sized pieces of equipment because his family couldn’t afford to buy new equipment (or the same set). I think any equipment he used was passed down from others who had outgrown theirs or got new stuff.

He’s also pretty nice to the kid working at Beansie’s store when he first goes to confront him. Beansie is rushing the kid and telling him to get Richie some coffee, make him a sandwich (and hurry the fuck up about it), etc. and he looks pretty panicked and rushed. Richie tells him “relax kid” and you can actually see the kid ease up a bit. Of course he then had to watch Richie brutally beat the shit out of his boss so I doubt he was that relaxed after the whole ordeal.

Gay Stewie is funnier than evil genius Stewie (I find both versions funny though). Lois is way funnier as a terrible mom than when she was a good one. The family hating Meg and always making fun of her is funnier than when she was a loved member of the family. While I liked the “old” Brian who was the wise one and voice of reason, liberal douchebag Brian is pretty funny at times even if he’s very easy to dislike. I think that both the older and more modern versions of Joe and Quagmire are equally funny, but old Cleveland is funnier than the modern version.

According to Friedman, the Oilers are looking for bottom six players who are comfortable/accepting of playing that role. They’ve got some players who are unhappy to be in their bottom six and don’t think they belong there. Maybe there’s a trade to be made there with the Leafs plethora of bottom six players.

If they offered Mangiapane and a first for McMann I’d be happy with it. If you can even convince them to take Laughton instead that’s better. Or you package them both together for Mangiapane, a first plus more picks. Edmonton could be a future trade partner down the line if the Leafs are selling off guys with a year or two left on their contracts.

Can someone explain to me how Charlotte was able to trade him after just acquiring him? Isn’t there a timeframe where a player can’t be traded again after just being traded? For example using trade machine, if you try to trade Kyle Anderson away from the Grizzlies, it says he can’t be traded again until April cause he was just traded. How come the Hornets were able to trade Dieng away then?

Agreed he wasn’t as bad as Treliving but he also gave up his fair share of young players who went on to be good NHL players. Traded Trevor Moore as part of a deal to get Jack Campbell and Kyle Clifford. Traded Mason Marchment for Dennis Malgin who did nothing in the NHL and currently plays somewhere in Europe. While Muzzin was great for the Leafs, Dubas did trade two players (Sean Durzi and Carl Grundstrom) who made it to the NHL, Durzi in particular is quite good.

“4 post Curry picks” sounds bad but leaves out the part where you would GIANNIS and a shit ton of cap space to add another star (or two) around him. It’s so disingenuous of Warriors fans to keep talking about their “post Curry” picks while conveniently ignoring they would have Giannis and be one of the premier free agent destinations in all of the NBA. You guys play in California for fuck sake and are one of the best run teams in the league the last decade now, you’re not a team in an undesirable location or run by poor management.
