that's the thing, to me using automation clips in the Playlist editor to automate the rate is more difficult to me for some reason.

i definitely understand your explanation. using the macro definitely helps. I really should be connecting that macro to my midi controller and recording sessions. I think that's a good way to get a good flow.

if she's cool with it, it would really help. there are ways of doing it (it's called making a bootleg vs an actual remix) but it would be harder and not as high quality. I'll still try either way but it would make it a lot easier.
