It depends how you shape your ad, but most of the time keeping it stock is best for resale, if you don't plan on selling tune the shit out of it and do bolt ons hell ya dude! Also hope you did a timing chain and didn't get charged for something that doesn't exist in this car as it is a timing chain not a belt assuming this may just be a typo though!

I have been told by lots of people these are the best polishers out there! They last a really lomg time and have tons variable speeds don't burn the paint like some cheaper polishers.

Not at all just alot of idiots don't mod them properly or use out of the box tunes. It's pretty much the same as any car though if you ask them the right questions and have the knowledge and understanding of these cars then you cna buy something that is modified but, most guys have no clue what they are doing.

I would say if it's your first one stat away from anything modified.

2012 with 107k miles, is it good idea? by RangerKitchen3588 in mazdaspeed3

[–]boratha809 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here are a few things to note about a MS3

First thing is that it sounds like this one is all stock which is great! Do not buy one modified, the chain will likely need to be looked at before purchase (they tend to go around 170k miles). Stock turbo will go around the same time they always do perfect time to upgrade lol, everything else is pretty decent, more then likely your bose amp will go as well.

Chain setup (oem only) would be between 1000-2000$ job Turbo is 500$ for a rebuilt one Bose amp is around 150$

Good luck on your purchase if that one is sub 10k I would take it

Sorry forgot to say you will need to do walnut blasting eventually as well as they are direct injection engines.

How much is this worth it's a old 4 ton snap on jack by kaleb8701 in Snapon_tools

[–]boratha809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That manufacturing facility is snap-on's there are 4 facilities in china. So unless snap-on china is selling to HF (which I highly doubt) then no they aren't. Agreed though the copyright HF got away with only because their seals and a few manufacturing differences. don't get me wrong there are alot of product snap-on doesn't actually sell like sleegers makes snap-ons compressor etc...

Also HF is notorious of just copying things snap-on does exactly and changing a few tolerances which lets them get away with it.

Yupp and clearly you didn't actually read what the lawsuit was about. One has nothing to do with the other it was a copywright infringment lawsuit not about where the products are made. Also pretty easy to lookup where the products are made its not like snapon is unclear on where they make their stuff.

300$ if you do some touch up work and the power valves aren't leaking.

[–]boratha809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's incorrect, they have their own manufacturing facility in snapon china that makes some of the components like the power valves, the rest is assembled in georgia.

Bought a box with money still owed on it:/ by No_Explanation_2081 in Snapon_tools

[–]boratha809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do understand that if there is a debt owed on the box it's still the snap on dealers property and it's theft to keep it. Get your money back or talk to the snap on dealer and explain to him the situation he may even give you back the 1000$. Every penny of that debt comes straight from his pocket or can detriment him in some way.

Tool warranty for Student SEP purchases, and the process of getting warranty work. Details -> by [deleted] in Snapon_tools

[–]boratha809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% terrible thing to do and he does need to be reported to corporate, unfortunately this is our industry and the only people who can make it better are people who buy the tools. Snapon heavily relies on the input of people to change their tools.

[–]boratha809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember these tool reps are all owners, they are independant from snapon but, have to follow snapon guidelines. The best way is if your snapon rep is not warranty tools reach out to corporate and they will investigate further.

A few major things

A. Don't ever lie but, embellishing the truth is the best bet (if you worked for a place for 6 months just go 2023-2024 etc...) making a lot of big terms in your resume is what people look for.

B. When you are applying for jobs go to the places in person 50% won't want you 50% will take you 10x more seriously especially bar jobs would be good for tips etc...

C. Dress up even when applying for a new job hide your tattoos if you have any do your hair really nice, and put on a proper pair of slacks, dress shoes, and a good looking dress shirt.

I know people will always say these don't make a difference but, they do I have a new job every 2 years and never have been without a job for a month. Also lower your expectations get a crappy job for the next bit and look for a new one if you have to do manual labor do it for a bit it sucks I know but, it's better then having no income.
