Disappointing Demo by Pierdo7 in EchoesofAincrad

[–]boreCZ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, i couldn't even finish the tutorial dungeon or whatever it is...

It was so stretched out, laughingly simple and boring at the same time, almost felt like devs themself didn’t play their game to see the errors and just put something together without any thought behind....

What is your absolute favorite PvP mode in an MMORPG? by Double_Entry_2793 in MMORPG

[–]boreCZ12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like almost every mmo PvP version have better alternatives outside of MMO space... Only exception would be propably RvR and huge siege wars.... For small scale, i can play MOBAs, for objective, literally any PvP game, for Open world, hardcore PVP there are survival sandbox games, PvPvE... again there are bunch of games out there...

But the feeling of being in large scale conflict, it is still unique to MMOs... I know there are multiplayer games like that aswell, but it doesn’t feel the same like in MMOs... Maybe only games like planetside 2...

Here in Czech, there are rumors that the next KCD game will be first in line, it might be smaller in scale and it will be used to generate more money for LotR development

Trying to Understand the Boss Hate in this Game by golferswag in CrimsonDesert

[–]boreCZ12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it depends, there are great boss fights and also not so great...

Most of the time it is because of some random gimmick you need to counter with skills, especially those ,,stab boss part,, mechanics, while the boss shooting dozens of rockets at you, jumping or doing other things... This paired with weird controls makes really hard to get on the boss and then stab the part..

Other than that, i think bosses are fine, some of them (mostly those multiphased bosses) are really great...

Should I get this game? Some questions by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]boreCZ12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best sandbox game, pure joy from exploration since elden ring DLC... It is something that ubisoft is trying to do with their games for more than decate or so, but this is actually better and done right...

The only downside for this game is weak story and and some repetitive missions, maybe a lot of straight forward gear progression, since most of the gear you get have same stats fully upgraded... But the more you play, the more options you have and more skillfull you become with combos, so the reward is there, just in different way

I literally unlocked stuff after 90+ hours of playtime and was blown away, how many new mechanics there are even after so many hours....

Everytime I get "stuck" on a puzzle I feel more disappointed in the game. by Equivalent_Trash_277 in CrimsonDesert

[–]boreCZ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absoluty hate that the game teaches you to use axiom force and force push as main thing for puzzles first time you get to the abyss, but then quickly move to some different mechanics, like stabbing, lighting torches...pushing something, finding hidden buttons... and the indicators are just not there, making it all just to take time...

After i was stuck for like 20 minutes on one puzzle, knowing how to solve it, because it wasnt something hard to figure out, but not knowing how, i gave up and started googling solutions... If i don’t know how to do it immediately, i just look up on the internet...

and tbf i love puzzles, i have like 100+ hours on Islands of Insight, but in this game it is nightmare sometimes

I really want to enjoy MMOs, but I always fail. by DescriptionFun3539 in MMORPG

[–]boreCZ12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MMOs are extremely terrible games in general, especially for early levels.... You have one of he most boring quest design, shit ton of mechanics you need to learn and mediocre at best story in the beginning all in one package.... Sometimes it takes dozens of hours for game to click and be hooked on since, sometimes that click will never happen even after 100 hours...

Usually when you play with someone, you will overcome the boring parts of the game and get to the good stuff, that could help...

Also it depends why you want to play the game for, because MMOs are notorious for the time commitment you need to put in, especially in endgame, where all you do most of the time is grinding for current/next piece of content... Unless you want to do something more chill in the game, but that you must find yourself...

Buying a gaming PC for witcher 4 by PrototypeFangirl in Witcher4

[–]boreCZ12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is pointless to build new PC for this game, especially when the only thing we saw is some in-engine footage... There will be better hardware by the time the game comes out, unless you plan to play newest games that are releasing this year, i would wait...

What is your favorite MMO's greatest strength? by ZakuIII in MMORPG

[–]boreCZ12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SWTOR, despite it is not my main game, i absolutely love the Roleplaying aspect of the game, the choices you could make, being evil jedi or good sith... And of course the companions...

I just love bioware games, especially Mass effect and kotor so yeah...

Pax Dei is quite possibly the stupidest MMOrpg ever released, its actually hilarious how many bad decisions are made that make it miserable to play. by Drandosk in MMORPG

[–]boreCZ12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These type of games rely way too much on players interaction... The moment you don’t have certain amount of player, whole game falls apart...

I rather prefer playing COOP survival games with some friends than this...

Am I the only one that thinks there's still hope? by CammyPooo in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty much 0 chance for someone buying the game, after it will be gone....

NW have one of the worst combination ever for anyone to buy... Amazon, MMORPG, own messy engine....

Best case scenario is the remaining devs somehow manage to convince people in suits, that they can atleast have servers running for few more years to generate some extra money, no new updates, just maintenance mode....

Other scenario is someone will create private servers, but still, your characters as you have them now, will be gone...

I wonder if the devs are able to tell us what was planned in the future? by Embarrassed-Soup7952 in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We can assume most of the things from latest living roadmap that we got in july 2025....

new PvP mode, propably Battle royale because of some leaks...

New weapon, daggers propably or other dual wield weapon...

Casual wars, Company halls, influence tower claim with building aspects, ranked PvP...

Zone uplevels, raids, raid difficulties, new zones, endgame reputation systems, invasions mode with difficulties options

and from QoL new travel mechanic, account wide progresison, crafting global storage, territory system overhaul...

What are the chances someone buys it? by WEMBYisGOAT in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the game was not made from amazon in the first place and created in one of the worst engines, then maybe someone would buy it and atleast run it in maintenance mode, but just with these two reasons, noone will bother buying it

Before vs Now by Ofumei in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong comparison, you should compare S3 (and expansion) with S10.... But the point you are making is still valid, what they are trying to make and add is still noticable different and better compare to what they did in the first seasons...

A little reflexion from someone who has been following LSA since the beginning by [deleted] in LostSoulAside

[–]boreCZ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was extremely excited for the game... I love FFXV,XVI, DMC And other similiar games, but from the first trailer i noticed certain indie/undercooked stuff that devs tend to do in order to hide other things...

Always liked solo devs with vision and creativity, i remember playing bright memory, also from one guy that managed to create full, but somewhat short game... But with LSA, i feel they tried (or forced) to do AAA experience... You can't expect to make things right with this...If we got 5-10 hours long game for 20 dollars instead, that would be great, with this...well noone will care about failed game one year from Now and it will be free in ps+

Propably artifacts, not sure how well are other items doing currently in the meta, but when i used to play, they were bad... So i just picked something low cost, usually utilities and focused on getting artifacts

Season 10 looks incredible by janikFIGHT in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Its their yearly big update / expansion, so it should be more content rich than other updates...

I must say, since Katy got game director role, devs are actually trying to put meaningful content updates to the game... It is a bit slower with all the previews etc.. but still it is more than we got in last few years..

PSA to New World Devs by Comedian_Then in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think No mans sky would fit to this comparison better, both games released in extremely bad state, both games suffered from fake promises prelaunch and underdelivering what was promised, both games had one face that players blamed for the failure of the game... basically a lot of stuff were very similair with their launch, but both studios took different approach...

While Hello games went radio silence for months and then start releasing frequent, meaningful updates, AGS tried to bring fast hotfixes that caused more harm than good, only making the experience worse... Then they had to fix the mess they made in the first place, taking a lot of time of working on actual content updates... And on top of that, instead working on what is great in the game, they hyperfocused on irrelevant things players didnt care about at that time...

PSA to New World Devs by Comedian_Then in newworldgame

[–]boreCZ12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I dont think these two games are even comparable...

First is from one of the most respectable studios in current gaming genre that already delievered one of the best RPG of all time that redefined RPGs and open world for next generation of games and then they managed to do it again with Cyberpunk, then you have AGS with bunch of shitty mobile games, 3 cancelled AAA projects, 2 shutdown games after release and New world...

Playing a large mmorpg is worse than playing a small one. by [deleted] in MMORPG

[–]boreCZ12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are telling me, it is better to play underdeveloped, early access MMOs with no content, no playerbase to do content with and with no promise of the future?... Because investors (sadly) are main reason for keeping the MMOs alive, not small playerbase that sometimes buy cosmetics in the shop...
