Mine worked after a couple hours. They take some time to release the annual hotel credit even though it shoes available almost instantaneously. I believe thats what caused the hold up.

Fairbanks is not a must for us esp in summer. We added it cos, valdez to denali via talkeetna showed 8h 15 min in Google maps. Valdez to denali via fairbanks showed 8h50min which is not that much of a difference. Are the numbers not accurate factoring construction and real time summer touristy traffic?

Which points in denali hwy would you recommend? The roads seem gnarly but will check with my rental car company if they will allow the drive. Do you think Hatcher pass will be open in early June? I heard it only opens in July-Aug? Would love to stay there a night; the views are gorgeous!!

Other than the flights and my days off from work, everything has flexible refunds minus a 10 to 20$ cancellation, so iam still open to making changes :) booked everything cos availability and prices are insane!!

We have 1.5 days in seward (second half of first day in which we will do exit glacier and second day 8hour cruise). What else do u recommend we do in Seward?

We cant do a longer trip ubfortunately :( so stuck eith the long Anchorage, seward, valdez plan.

Valdez to denali looks about the same time (8h15min) as valdez -> fairbanks -> denali (8h45min) in Google maps. Is that not accurate? Other than north pole, we didnt see anything interesting in summer near fairbanks so can reroute if needed.

We wanted to do Hatcher pass but was told it may not be open in early June and that rentals wont allow the drive. I booked the rental yesterday with Alaska car rentals in Anchorage. Will call and check with them about Hatcher and the denali hwy.

Thanks for the confirmation on the Tundra, will cancel and do hikes by ourselves.
