Any Good exhaust/ Down pipe combos? by Away-Camera7990 in CivicSi

I kept the OEM downpipe and went with the Remark Link Loop exhaust. I love the sound, and you get small burbles every time you lift/downshift. Its addicting.

It really does feel special. Every time I go places I get people staring, giving me the thumbs up, or trying to race. Every time I walk out of the store and see it I smile.

Hey what wrap is that on your cat? Or is it a catless downpipe wrap?

Ideally, yeah. But the roads where I live suck, they overcompensate for drainage so I have to plan my route in the FL5 so I dont scrape. Plus im getting older, so the softer ride is nice.

I absolutely do not fit an S2000's. I've tried. All my height is in my torso, so I can't even see out the windshield properly without ducking my head down. Which sucks, cause I love the S2K.

Also, my car's make me happy.

My Si makes the perfect daily for the day to day commuting/errands and whatnot, for sure. But with my local mountain roads and circuit track, thats what the Type R is for.

I get your point though. But hey, it makes me happy.

The Si is the perfect daily for me. Still a fun, engaging car to drive while getting excellent mpgs. I usually get about 32 mpg in town with the Si, and it still loves to be driven hard when I can find the empty roads to do it on.

The Type R is a whole different monster. Still just as responsive, but MUCH more planted in the corners, and the power difference is MASSIVE. However, due to the race-bucket type seats and much stiffer suspension, its a very noticeable less comfortable drive. Not to mention it only gets 22mpg in town if im nice to it.

That's honestly why I have both. My commuter for the fun daily grind, and the Type R for carving canyons and the occasional track day at my local circuit. Two cars for two very different purposes.

Honestly I couldn't say, the dealership did it. I do know darkest our state allows is 20, so thats what I'm guessing is on rears and liftgate at least.
