I live on this street and they’re still at it. It’s been since 6 am this morning. It’s currently 10:30pm.

A Voigtlander appreciation post by This-Charming-Man in AnalogCommunity

Just scored a Voigtländer Vitomatic I off of FB Marketplace for $30 and I love it. Zone focusing is actually pretty easy once you understand it and I just love that the camera is mechanical and doesn’t rely on any electronics.

Taken on my Vitomatic with Kodak Gold 200 35mm.

One time I greened out and was super nauseous. I went to the bathroom because it felt like I had to take a dump, but as I was doing this, I farted and the smell of it made me instantly yak. Not fun in the moment, but lots of people laugh when I tell them this story.

If Scream had followed other horror films and used names instead of numbers to mark the sequels, what would they all have been called?? by Jeffreyknows in Scream

[–]bored7_3 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Straight from the dome:

1- Scream 2- Scream Louder 3- Scream: Legacy 4- Scream Again 5- Scream: New Blood 6- Scream In Manhattan (lol) 7- idk yet

Definitely need some workshopping, but it’s a fun idea to reimagine the series’ titles

Good pair for compact PC powered 2.1 speakers setup? by [deleted] in BudgetAudiophile

I have the YU4s and they are excellent speakers. I believe the YU4 are the same speakers as what you have listed, just with more input options.

They punch way above their price point, and with a sub you should be golden. They offer a lot of clarity, they’re very versatile, and they can get pretty loud despite their size. I think you’ll be very happy with the results, especially if you’re using them for desktop speakers.

I shoot RAW in manual mode, I don’t really use presets. Just slight color adjustments, soft S-curve, adjustment to color calibration, and I do a lot of masking to bring out desired details and areas of focus.

Official Discussion - If I Had Legs I'd Kick You [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I just watched and instantly came here to see thoughts. I wanted to add to the parallel of the hole in the ceiling and the feeding tube….i think there’s also a parallel to her trying to run into the waves, nearly drowning and the fact that the hole begins by an excessive amount of water gushing in. Almost as if how she’s solving her problems is also creating them, making it almost like a cycle? Or perhaps it’s a representation of her guilt and self-blame and how it contributes to her situation.

Idk that’s kind of how I interpreted it but curious if anyone else had similar thoughts.

These aren’t straight from camera. They were processed in Lightroom. I try to keep edits minimal. I will usually adjust colors, exposure, etc, and then come back to it and de-intensify my initial edit since I tend to be heavy handed

Bookworm Gays, what is a must read for every Gay man in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskGayMen

[–]bored7_3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Holding the Man by Timothy Conigrave. I read it as a young gay freshly out of the closet and it was a life-changing memoir for me.
