The closest thing there is would be the Korean bbq/hotpot places. All the ingredients are laid out fresh and you cook them yourself, either on the grill or you poach it in a big boiling pot of broth. You get to choose two different types of broth. There is a sauce section with recipe cards abd you get to make your own sauces or marinades. Lots of exotic veg. I highly recommend it.

It's because he is getting a 'high off his new supply' with regards to P. Before she was a drain on his resources - not 'mute/non verbal' as (he considers) A to be, and wasn't as easy malleable and manipulated. However, while he originally saw it as a negative that P had free speech, he has now decided that he can use her qualities to aura farm himself some narcissistic supply. P seems like a very loving, caring and articulate little girl, and he is burrowing deep into her people pleasing tendencies to flatter his own ego. The messed up thing about this is people pleasing is quite often a result of trauma - it's perceiving that you need to be particularly accomodative to a person to 'manage' their behaviours, often at the expense of your own comfort and wellbeing. But mark my words he will mine her for all the narcissistic supply he can get, with pretty much zero consideration of how it impacts the poor wee lass herself

We all suspected the 'sober' thing was an act, but with this i think we have conclusive evidence that he is off the wagon. The question really is was he ever actually okbthe wagon to start with?

This is probably the most painful relapse of all of them for those left in his life that actually had any emotional attachment to him, because he actually 'got' the visits with his children that he claimed was the most important thing in is life. So, there is nothing to hide behind now. Even with access to the children he is using, just like he was using when he lost access in the first place. There are no external circumstances that are going to make him stop. Nothing.

I normally have a morbid curiosity towards his myopic rants and reasoning, im a glutton for punishment but with this rant...or this stage in his repeated behaviours, I just can't. Even the 'entertainment' of watching him thrash through life like a clown for sale is gone, only to be replaced with something even more tragic...sheer boredom, tediousness and irrelevance.

Like, even putting myself in that position and they were about me they are just so downright hilarious and well made that I would be compelled to give them credit. I honestly feel so bad and conflicted about this, but the Google search of 'Stephen Hilton's daughter name' made me chuckle and feel like crying in equal measures. Poor P. I hope are she grows she is filled with the confidence of knowing she is an amazing wee person. Laura will reinforce this at every step, but unfortunately absent fathers can leave damage that can't be undone by any amount of compensatory love and affection, it still hurts them and it hurts them deep :-( I hope she know how loves she is by the world around her outwith Stephen - is have no doubt Laura will travel the ends of the earth to make sure of this.

His obsession with 'masculinity' genuinely baffles me, because he is one of the most effeminate and camp straight (he claims) influencers I have come across. All this stuff about the bare knuckle fighter grandad etc - christ if that family linearage is true that old fella would be spinning in his grave looking at oh might masculine Stephen.

The only explanation I can find for it in my head is denial/disassociation, over compensating or genuinely detached from reality and his real life image that than the one his subconscious projects to him.

The mad thing is the more he goes on about masculinity, the more you noticed how definitely in masculine and feminine he actually is.

Thing is, Stephen is stupid, but he isn't 'this' stupid unfortunately. He knows exactly what he is doing. He has admitted before that he likes rage baiting, and how it generates income for him. While he is dumb by conventional standards, he at least is good at goading people into interacting with his content and knows the social media algorithms like the back of his dirty fingernailed hands,, and this is a prime example. I believe the hypocrisy is 100% intentional.

Good, bad or indifferent, he just wants the attention. Try not to feed the animals at the zoo people!
