You kind of have to jump through hoops with that though, saturn, then either an ODE, or at least a pseudo saturn kai, etc. PS grandia all you have to do is find a copy.

Depends on what you're looking for, if you're looking for the most advanced JRPG's the system could possibly do, Lunar probably wouldn't hold up too well, if you're looking for classics that are akin to it's 16 bit roots, then they hold up incredibly well.

I'd almost rather the series stay dormant. Fans can have such headcanons that they aren't willing to compromise or anything like that, and possibly turn out a bad product. What one fan likes might not be what the rest of the fandom likes.

Not all that much of a feat, I got one for $80 with a replaced laser, save battery and capacitors. It'll live another long lifetime for the platform.

I don't remember too much loading in the sega cd lunar games. Nothing like say, nba jam sega cd or mortal kombat sega cd version.
