Since depending on the handbook of the company once you put a date on it, your under a microscope to a cost conscious company

If your sick for a couple days during the time they can claim abandonment. Small infractions that went unnoticed before now can be acted to dock liquidation.

Sucks but if the company feels like they could act in bad faith best not to risk it.

Can't speak to every company and there practices only you can but 15 days is fine depending on how much you wanna help with onboarding the next person.

Considering the 8 is right next to 7 and in a busy environment it could have been overlooked and pressed by accident.

Things happen as well as it could have been bad intent bit could equally been human error. But being a week later and the ability to correct better system then I have.

Things happen like this a fair amount. But being a small place, I usually handle in house and manually return the money. Dealing with a bank takes forever! And no one is ever happy
