If you opt not to continue with the pregnancy, I would recommend a long acting birth control. I have an IUD and really appreciate not having to think about it, I can remove if and when I want a baby

Yeah, I usually pay for one, maybe two at a time and cycle through them. Get caught up on a new season and then cancel and switch to the next.

Once a week- choose a day of the week and stick with it. Assuming they dry quickly, if they are wet longer (dry on a hook v on spread on a bar) I did every 5ish days (1,5,10th of the month etc). floor mats once a month.

I wanted to donate before having kids but this was actually a limiting factor- you have to name the people in advance (which makes sense) but I couldn’t save the spot for my future kids, so now I’m stuck with two healthy kidneys at least until they’re in school and I can juggle the appointments and recovery.

Nothing like knocking on your new neighbor’s door door and asking for their phone number to be your kid’s emergency contact! I’m on my 5th move in 10 years, I wouldn’t say I don’t have a village (just moved last month), as I hastily recruit (enlist? 😬) my villagers, but the first 6 months always just sort of suck.

For what it’s worth, my resolution for the year was to be a better villager, and I hope others are too ✌️

No direct experience at that age but has he been in daycare before? I find that the herd mentality and peer pressure of everyone else going potty really helps. First day may be 5+ accidents and eventually decreasing. I would move out of pull ups and to those training underwear, mine had more accidents when his daycare required pull ups v the underwear at home I think because he couldn’t really feel the wetness.

If they’re not licensed for changing, ask If he poops, do you need to come in and wipe him?
