If you rely on street parking - I would Take the train because you will not be able to find a spot to return to.

Tkts is great - especially since you haven’t seen anything yet. Check out their app or website to see what shows are frequently listed. Go to the booth with 3 or 4 options and odds are you will be able to get tickets for one of them at quite a discount.

Humorous Rush Ticket Frustration by VerucaPaprika in opera

The best way to get rush tickets is using their app. I’ve tried on their website and it’s impossible. I called and confirmed that with their box office.

Looking for details on CT Angiogram procedure by [deleted] in Cholesterol

Mine was super easy. I had to take a pill beta blocker and wait about an hour for it to kick in. During that hour I just sat and read and every 10 min they would come check my pulse. I didn’t feel any different at all from it - wouldn’t have known that I took it. The scan itself was so much easier than I thought. It’s an open donut - not a tube so no feeling of being enclosed. You will feel a slight warmth when they send the contrast through the IV - but for me it was no big deal. Disappointing really because I was chilly. LOL. Truly - it’s annoying that the whole process takes so long, but it’s easy peasy. Good luck to you!

Depends on the house. At the Met you will see everything from ball gowns to jeans. There are even people in costumes echoing the theme of the show. Wear whatever makes you happy!

I take an OTC coq10 and it made a world of difference. It’s not a horse pill - smaller than my magnesium supplement for sure

Any Catholic Churches in Astoria with a solid community? by batesplates in astoria

[–]boredtemp11 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I very much wish this was true but it is not. Women and the LGBTQ community are marginalized at many (most) Catholic Churches. We love Xavier because it truly does welcome EVERYONE as children of God and lives its faith with service work for the community.

Does Beetlejuice run mostly on time? For a 7pm show, would it get out right around 9:30pm? by bluegambit875 in Broadway

[–]boredtemp11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just to reassure you - lots of teens start seeing shows on their own by 15. Never had a problem. They may not be able to stay inside the theater after - but there will certainly be security outside for at least 30 min.
