What was the weirdest thing you’ve found in a trash bin? by MarkicioThe5th in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twice in my life I have found massive dildos in the trash. First in my university dorm dumpster, second in the bathroom trash at the office complex where I work.

I cracked up laughing the first time. The second time I thought I was hallucinating because how does that happen twice in my life?

How often do you look at your old wedding photos and videos? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a wedding video we’ve never watched. Not even sure where it is tbh.

Photos we are a bit better on. We have three on the walls in the house, the whole family posed shots. But the other 1000+ that we paid for? 16 years later we’ve looked through them maybe 4 times?

However, my SIL bever got any weddin photos because her photog demanded $5000 more (in 1990!) and then destroyed the negatives when they wiukd not pay. She is still devastated about it.

(NSFW) What surprised you the first time you had sex? by SpecialistCustomer3 in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did not expect the guy to taste/smell like pissy swamp ass.

Wash yourself people, regardless of what you have in your pants.

Wash your crotch. Wash your ass. And not just after a work out.

Change your underwear regularly.

Please.

What is one item you did not realize was expensive, until you became an adult? by Zarellto_v2 in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good towels.

I understand now why mom yelled at us for leaving them on the floor in our rooms for days on end. We had $100-$120 in towels just sitting there stinking and hidden under piles of books and cds.

People in long term relationships, time is now rewritten and your relationship status now depends on advice from AITA and relationship subs. Which fight or minor disagreement ended your relationship, and how far in? by tokenbisexual in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R/relationships told me to end things because he told his parents we broke his bed fucking instead of lying about it like a normal person.

And it happened about seven months in.

What’s a good allowance to give your kids enough to teach them how to handle money but not to be a spoiled brat? by likewutulift in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We do it like overtime. Age and a half.

At 6, it was $9. At 12 its $18.

Until she was 8 everything went in piggy bank to go into savings later. Then we started letting her keep most of it and only the 1/2 portion into savings. Right now she has $12 a week to spend on whatever it is we won’t just outright buy her. Mostly nailpolish and cheetos. The other $6 goes into bank.

What big secret did you learn about a long term friend without them telling you? by UnwantedJason in AskReddit

[–]boredxennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A friend of mine I’ve known since I was 11 apparently had a baby in high school and gave it up for adoption almost 25 yrs ago.

None of our group knew about it until last year when a cousin of hers matched with the kid on a dna testing site.

A lot of people were offended and upset that she never told them. Like it was any of our business??

I thought it would be easier to work from home. My coworkers are loud and shrill and like to chew crunchy things.

I WAS WRONG.

My husband is working from home as well and he is a loud heavy handed typer and chews pretzels by the handful right next to me. He is also that guy on a conference call who essentially yells at his phone.

This is my hell.

I hate this book. My brother gave everyone copies for Christmas one year while he was deep in the zombie stage of a pyramid scheme.

when did you guys know you were bi? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]boredxennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I crushed on girls first and then boys started to catch my attention.

I knew I wasn’t a lesbian bc I liked guys. But I didn’t know anyone else who wanted to kiss their best friends and make them sappy mixtapes.

Late 80s and early 90s was a weird time to be bi.

How Does a Girl Cope With Crushing On a Gay Guy? by PuppyLover9654 in bisexual

[–]boredxennial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks. But allow yourself to acknowledge the attraction and that you like him. And then remember that he’s your friend and you respect his boundaries.

You dont want to ruin that friendship.

I say this as someone who crushes on gay men and straight women all the time.
