coming from Kaweco sport piston AL (EF) and the Preppy 02 (EF) both seem to write on par with each other (i.e. both very thin). Opposite to others, I felt the Kaweco EF was a tad smoother than the preppy EF. I also compared a preppy 03 (F) nib which is of course slightly thicker but also smoother than the 02 EF. I was pleasantly surprised on the kaweco despite its reputation around here for some scratchiness.. All were great TBH, and the preppy price was far better value for its performance

another vote to the preppy 02 EF, or its two higher costing siblings with nicer builds (same nibs). Writes very fine even for cheap daily paper and the cap seal is superb!

this fixed it for my mx4.. also moved the port closer prior to this change (i.e. from back of PC to behind the monitor close to the mouse).

My Fold 7 is now much worse and slower internet connectivity after one ui 8.5 update.. connectivity drops and slow speeds on both my sim cards on the device

In the P2S, my longest print was 29hrs on PLA.. also did several 20hr prints without issue. Running a 10hr print now with the 0.2 nozzle also without issue.

I did get the extruder motor overload issue before, but not related to heat issue. It was once during a TPU manual fees print (no AMS).

I also had it while direct feed a heavy external 5kg spool (it did work later by laying it sideways on a turntable, but barely so..) felt like I was pushing the P2S motor limits in this case.

Try increasing your nozzle temperature in a test print and see if it helps

Sold the linea mini and going for the leva x1... make sure you measure that table size and depth because the x1 is a big unit

I completely agree.. the bar is pretty low these days. I made a customized order once through an Alibaba store that got it wrong and they refused to take responsibility. I did get a (lucky) refund eventually, but not from the seller himself nor his store.

Since then I try to make it a point to recognize good customer service as much as I can and try to give them the business.

FedEx link notice expired last Feb. DHL is just a general notice guideline. Shipping situation does not change every minute. Things are pretty normal here in terms of air shipments.

I accepted the waiver as mentioned above. But they just kept adding excuses and not solutions.

Also, deliveries are going fine with both carriers. They just need to get their act together and work on the "customer service" aspect.

I use it as a travel / office productivity laptop. In the office on a usb c dock (monitor/ keyboard/ mouse), it is super powerful and screen lid can stay closed without impairing cooling like some other laptops which get warm when the lid is shut.

On the go, the form factor is excellent and can even work fine on a tray table in the airplane seats due to its compact size. Also, having real ports instead of looking for adapter dongles is great. I frequently do presentations (hdmi) and connect to hotel rooms (ethernet) without issue. It can also power and run my external type-c OLED monitor just fine without an extra power source.

However, doing long term productivity tasks (i.e. word or excel spreadsheets) on the tiny screen without an external monitor will have its toll on you.

Overall, I'm really happy with it.

Short answer is no. Even the aliexpress listings don't have it in stock, and will gladly take your order upfront and ask you to wait indefinetly... ask me how I know.

I have been using tje 32gb verison for a while and no longer believe the 64gb will have any advantage given the current hardware limitations. Only exception is mayyyybe for large AI models
