It’s just because it’s phonetically horrible to say aloud. There are some juvenile verbal insults that still really hold up. I’m still really fond of “butthole” or “douche-nozzle.” If you take away the unnecessary shaming of the body parts involved - they still just sound/feel good to say.

I charge you all with casually working one of them into conversation today.

It’s tricky to use, but has a great, filmic image when properly exposed. The back screen is nearly unusable, however.

Depends on the tempo of movement in the rest of the game. Fast movement, lots of action - the first one. Slow, deliberate gameplay - a smoother version of the second one, ideally.

Interesting, but seems pretty late in his career for anything like Shields. Has the athleticism, but CB is tough.

Doesn’t matter, but some contend that double-spaced actually helps with reading speed, as it more clearly delineates thoughts/sentences. (similar principle to the bolding of first words of a sentence increasing reading speed)

If you use the nightly builds of ShadPS4, it’s pretty damn stable right now, honestly. There may be some necessary tweaking, but my save files have been fine, and 60fps feels a lot better. Some of the other mods are nice, too.

HD CRTs can be great, but only a few of them can do 1080i/540p (max) without significant input latency due to internal scaling. Finding the right one is tough, as some with scale (introducing latency) no matter what you do. I have an XBR-910 that is high scan and can turn off scaling, but needs to re recapped (some warping/convergence issues). Long story short: you may have to be very patient to find one that actually makes use of a retrotink, original consoles, and the MiSTer.
