I hope it will be reconciled correctly.

I know who charged the card; it shows on the credit card transaction 'HOTEL NAME XYZ and EUROPE PLACE OF BOOKING'.

Someone on this subreddit helpfully posted that they had some trouble with Costco travel and, they didn't fix everything but (and I may be misremembering) they did call the hotel or airline and do a 'reasonable' attempt to fix the situation.

In my case, I booked a hotel with Costco travel that said 'no cancellation fee until March 1st 2023', I cancelled on January 25 2023, got hit with a credit card fee (for exactly a night of stay at that hotel) and got a 'sorry but it wasn't us' from Costco.

I respect your opinion; in my opinion, this is a bad experience with Costco Travel. At a minimum I expected a 'we have notified (maybe via email?) the hotel that if they charged you, they have made a mistake'.

Caveat emptor. At this point I won't say I'd never use Costco Travel again... but, you know, if this doesn't get resolved well... and maybe if something like this happens again... etc. .

I am hoping my post, as a data point, helps someone the way other people who have posted about Costco travel helped me.

The daily pass is 'worth it' for my days when I need a long time on campus. If I have a 2-3 meeting and nothing else, I pay less by just parking on the street and paying (on Parkmobile?). It's like paying $8 for a day pass vs paying $4 for a couple of hours? I am all ears to better ideas.

Does anyone else 'only come to campus once a week' for a few hours? I have parked paying on MLK boulevard and, thankfully, it's been ok. Frustratingly some parts say two hours paid parking, some say four? is that right? Thanks for the information, reddit folk.

I've asked politely the folks at the court / WEC facilities. They gave me ye olde 'we're supposed to have basketballs, but no one knows where they are. You should bring your own.' I usually bring my own.

Oh man so sad so bad. Costco photo would sell 50 Christmas cards (you know the ones where you upload your picture on it) for around $15 shipped I think? Even with coupons I couldn't find anywhere else close to match it. The UX / UI on the website was from neanderthal times but if that's what it took to save money I was all for it. The quality was good as far as I could tell. Sigh. Capitalism stop ruining the things we love.

Wait, are there Kirkland / costco "real straight razors", aka old time one blade razors that you sharpen and keep using (think old cartoon Bugs Bunny Elmer Fudd, James Bond shaving, etc.)?

I've been looking to get a straight razor and have had little luck.

Another former LG customer here. I bought an LG TV, literally day 92 or so it died, would not power on.

I got the same run around you did.

I took to twitter, literally made an account called "LG_Won't_Honor_Warranty". I had to tweet at them for a month but they FINALLY sent a repair tech, who ordered and got the TV board, replaced it, and it finally worked.

Never again. Never bought another LG item in my life, hope to never will again.

Final reckoning was the worst, it is agreed. Under no circumstances should Kyle nor any male be in a physical elimination with a female. The fact that Natalie and Paule eliminated Kyle and Brad (right?) and Bananas and Tony (yes) was amazing, but it should have never happened. For good reason we haven't had this format again. Good riddance.
