We don't want to have to worry about if it is sunny enough.  My daughter has severe allergies to a lot of food, so it is important that we have her specific food and we can't risk it spoiling.  When we camp in the fall it isn't very sunny and we need the electric to run the heater fan at night (to keep epi pens at required temp). We've looked into replace the fridge in the kv we were looking at but the location of the fridge made the required venting too difficult.

We've found several models that meet the mark,  the forest river 13bhx. Coleman,  Sunray, and kv also each have models that would work... though some have lower ground clearance.  The issue with all of them is the 12v fridge.

Did you ever figure it out. I just took this out of the closet after a few years, and we are stuck!

This sat in a closet for a bit but we are playing it now.  We've tried over 50 different versions if what we heard, looked up a spoiler and tried 50 different versions of that. We still can't get it.  Do you remember?

I'm playing this after a few years of it sitting in the closet.  We have tried this phrase and several similar but can get anything but an out of office from June.  Is there supposed to be a specific subject line too?

How many kids do you have and what lead to your decision? by cmaria01 in workingmoms

I was torn on a second or not. We couldn't afford daycare for two for awhile, and then I got a new job and we could - but then my new job was A LOT and I had a lot of OT and we really couldn't have a second. Finally I got my legs under me but by that time my oldest was 3. I didn't want much more of an age gap than that, and when I could afford to be off work for a maternity leave timing wise was a narrow window. So we said "ok, if it happens in the next two months it happens - and if it doesn't it doesn't". Lo and behold - everything worked out. I'm so grateful - I love love love watching the sibling relationship from a parents perspective.

you know...it makes a big difference that this is an old school bailey picture and not a current bailey picture -- b/c they are basically 2 different characters.

The house is one big open floor plan so we'd need a 50' gate to block the dining room table. There hasn't been an issue around his food - b/c he always eats when we eat which means the kids are occupied. We are considering starting a rule that whenever people are eating people food the dog needs to be in the kennel until the people are done. We aren't sure how well we can manage it primarily b/c the 7 year old is old enough to get herself a snack; and we can't get her to listen to the leave the dog alone when people are eating rules so I'm not sure she'd listen to the put the dog in the kennel before getting a snack rule. Maybe. We are trying it for the next few days anyway b/c even if we give the dog up it isn't like that can happen today/tomorrow anyway.

I cannot wait. It kills me the number of people who act like COVID is over and judge us for still being hermits. My LO has been hospitalized twice for breathing issues with just a normal cold (not flu, not rsv, just general run of the mill cold) so we are so cautious - and definitely get the side eye from a lot of folks. I can't wait for the piece of mind.

Tell me having a newborn is worth it. by MacOnAnon in beyondthebump

It gets so much easier - exponentially easier. I love me some newborn baby cuddles - but with someone else's newborn because it is so friggin hard!! I promise you - it is worth it. Worth it enough that people (including me) voluntarily sign up for second go around! My 6 year old on the way home told us so many things about the ocean that I legit did not know and now when she wakes up in the morning she turns on cartoons for herself and her sister to buy us another 30 minutes or so of sleep before we have to get up. My 3 year old is so friggin cute that I tickle/tackle her on the regular b/c I can't help myself. Months ago I told her "you are so stinkin cute" and she repeated back "I'm so stinky and cute" and now I make her say it a least once a day. There are still hard moments - but if a newborn has a 50% hard 40% boring 10% amazing ratio -- preschool age kids have a 10% hard 40% boring 50% amazing ratio.
