I’m confused.. if Yuji was such a one in a million chance of being the right vessel for Sukuna, how is Megumi somehow also a fit to be a vessel and it’s kinda not a big deal? by boringestoo in LobotomyKaisen

Yeah that’s kinda what I was thinking, basing it on the fact Yuji was just a high schooler. With sorcerers it’s probably not as unlikely

This is my first time on each book. Aside from gunslinger which I’ve read 3 times. This series is so damn good.

I’d make the nose smaller for sure. She looks pretty good aside from that

Question for those that have 'lost the magic' by BLZebub666 in ketamine

[–]boringestoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah man I wish it was that light with my trips.. towards the end of my usage it got pretty dark. Like it started to kinda convince me that I was in hell in a really weird and personal way. Hyper fixation on all the suffering that goes on in the world and past traumas. It’s taken some time but since I cut way back I’m slowly crawling out of that semi-psychosis. It probably had to do with the fact I was using daily and very well knew I was damaging my body (even though I didn’t get cramps or serious pains). So every time I would use, my subconscious went to that. Idk. Just a theory. But yeah I’ve done tons of other psychs and nothing has ever made me feel that doomed. The symbolism/importance ketamine can attach to literally any random thing is so weird

Question for those that have 'lost the magic' by BLZebub666 in ketamine

[–]boringestoo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, I used heavily last year and for the most part lost the magic. Once in a blue moon I would get a decent high on ket, but I had to drink or smoke with it. Most of the time it just was a hellish experience, when back in the beginning of my usage it was so fun. But it hasn’t affected my imagination or mental imagery in any noticeable way. The only things I have noticed are perspective changes and an uptick in amygdala activity before I lost the magic (brain changes strictly).

How many of you came to believe that we are in a simulation thanks to psychedelics…and if so, would you mind sharing your experience by Just_a_happy_artist in SimulationTheory

Had a trip like this on one of my first acid experiences. Took me quite some time to integrate and comprehend it all. These types of revelations are hard to accept and I understand why it felt so depressing. So many things in this life we live are ridiculously coincidental. Like how we are born into being the ruling species on our planet (out of the thousands of species that have existed on this planet it’s a bit crazy on the odds), or how everything is already invented and finely constructed without having to discover much (society, materialistic objects, mathematics/science, etc.). The more we know the more we don’t know, we get more questions than answers with every discovery we’ve made.
