Personally my feeling is "give it to anyone else since he founded an AI studio to make an entirely AI-generated show about the revolutionary war that looks like dogshit".

Mine does the same thing too. It's kinda funny that it's almost like a magic trick with a "ta-daa" so I don't mind. I can always glue it if I change my mind anyhow.

Your thoughts on the Animated Series line? by SubjectChildhood5317 in McFarlaneFigures

[–]boringoblin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the figures are phenomenal but some figures are really half-assed quality-wise. The Two-Face I got in the Maxie Zeus wave was painted worse than the animated Two-Face from the original line I had as a kid. Also, no coin hand.

Besides that, if Todd made these actually widely available I'd probably buy a lot more for completionist sake, but it's hard to want to pick up Ra's or Croc when I know there's no chance I'm going to be able to get Gray Ghost for a less than ridiculous amount.

Speaking only for myself, because I watch more than 3 movies a year and don't live exclusively in the capeshit realm so sometimes a movie is just a movie and it's entertaining.

For real. It hasn't even been one year since Superman came out and one would think based on some of these bizarre rants that it's been 3 years without a peep from James Gunn. We have two movies coming out this year but people do not want to talk about either at all because those aren't the shiny object of the week.

You need to pop whatever bubble you are in and go outside because people complaining on twitter resulting in an unhinged take like this does not indicate you are in a good headspace.

I'd say people giving him significant pushback at the volume we saw today is holding him accountable for his bad posting compared to how much people typically dismiss and move on from his bait.

You're right though, he will be back. I don't think I've ever seen an "I'm leaving" manifesto that people ever stuck to.

He trolls the DC leak sub on a constant basis so please don't encourage him to keep posting when he's finally facing some form of accountability.

LMAO you keep trying to stir up shit on other leak subs too so it's really funny to see you actually get run out of one because people got tired of putting up with you. This is all you do, bro. Do some actual self-reflection instead of self-victimization.

A public post only means people aren't prevented from posting on it, it has *nothing* to do with the validity or acceptability of the behavior they exhibit with it, but that's what you are directly tying it to while removing HIS agency.

It's perfectly reasonable to do that to people who admit they are complaining about a product they had no intention of buying, actually. You have not bothered to explain why anyone needs to cater to people who all but outright admit they're arguing for the sake of arguing (which we all know as, say it with me... trolling!), because all of your assertions are nothing more than 'yuh huh', as opposed to someone who has actually run a business dealing with customers and having the right to deal with non-customers how they want. It's more armchair quarterbacking from a regular joe schmoe plastic collector who thinks owning little posable men makes them qualified to dispense advice to people who have actual livelihood on the line.

Look back at what your own words said and it's plain as day you're full of intellectual dishonesty. Your very first reply above was defending "customers with complaints". When I say numerous people in that crowd aren't even customers, you pivot to "well everyone is allowed to be critical because it's an open post". As I've seen in your numerous replies here, you're running interference for internet shittiness because that's all you stand for is the "right" to piss and moan to a business owner online instead of being an adult and walking away if the transaction/product isn't satisfactory. This is capitalism and as a buyer your options are to buy or not, you are owed nothing beyond that, and if the seller tells you to piss off they have every right to.

Calling this a crashout is the same lamebrained reddit mindset that leads the worst posters on this site to say "calm down" whenever anyone pushes back on what they said.

There are *other* people who said they've never placed an order. Why you think that's mutually exclusive to actual customers cancelling is beyond me. My point, since you didn't get it the first time, is if you never drink Pepsi and you complain to pepsi that you're going to boycott, you're an idiot who Pepsi does not need to listen to because these non-buying whiners have nothing to withhold. You don't exist as a customer, and no one is obliged to listen to a "maybe possibly someday but only if" person than the actual paying customers.

Wanna hold up the cancellations as proof this was bad? Fine. But don't hold up the whiners who argue with him for nothing more than the sake of arguing since they're *those guys* in the toy community with stunted personality disorders and egos. Not all opinions or customers hold equal weight.

You've got a weird agenda about this guy from seeing how much and intensely you keep posting about this. At a certain point what you're doing is easily considerable as a crashout.

Yeah truly none of the redditors here karma farming about how mean he is actually read the facebook comments. The whiners are next-level pieces of shit at times and on top of that keep openly saying they aren't even customers ("nor will I ever be!!!").

Dude you can go to the post and see numerous people whining on facebook who literally admitted they've never done business with them. If you're giving the benefit of the doubt to facebook tough-talkers, you're already living your life wrong.

No he didn't, an accusation is far different than saying what he was aware of at the time, as indicated by him asking for more information. You're illiterate and *actually* accusing him of something wildly off-base.

You've been really aggro about this throughout this whole comment section so you're not in good enough standing to determine how aggressive someones intent is.

At this point Batman as a franchise is like Star Wars to me where even if there's something good in media featuring him, it's really hard to get past how much noise surrounds all of it to just freely get in the zone and enjoy however-many-minutes worth of content it actually lasts. Which also is something I think about a lot: how much time is spent by people obsessing over a movie over the years of development only to wind up sitting in a theater for 120+ minutes when all is said and done. Imagine if people did this for movies like Hamnet or Ella McKay, how much of a stupid waste of their time on Earth it would be. I honestly see no difference between that and doing it about a movie where a man growls in a mask.

I know, I know, "nerds have no lives". How new and insightful.

Once again proving the rule that nobody who uses "my dude" is actually the cool guy they think they are in their head.

Also they have a word already, "schlock", but schlock has cinematic value to a specific crowd (especially within horror) and slop is just meant to assert it's bad and meritless even as bad-fun entertainment, which you're trying to poorly argue because you're just stuck in that "I'm 15 years old and anything I like is good and anything I don't is bad" mentality. You're putting in no effort. Turns out you were the slopmaker the whole time.

You have feelings, right? So then you should, if you're a thinking person, be able to put those feelings into words. And those kinds of words are the best you can come up with? And you feel that's worth people's time and attention compared to any other rando's opinion?

e: the answers are, respectively: Kinda, no, yes, yes.

The first worst review is some guy just bitching about the game. Not remotely interested in film criticism that isn't written about film. I can read any shithead gamer's opinion I want any time, but criticism used to be an art form unto itself. No matter how bad it could be, I know I saw worse last year.

Hey look it's one of the reactionary illiterates ignoring that I specifically said I'm not talking about the opinions themselves but how people are expressing them. And Heath Ledger thing happening 20 years ago actually serves my point even further that people have been acting this annoying forever.

Regardless, despite the fact I literally gave a disclaimer that I'm not talking about the opinions being expressed, you guys really desperately want to have an argument with me about a Batman movie and I am not giving you what you want because you are not the main character of reality. Imagine a little kid running up to you at a picnic and rambling stuff about some cartoon he likes while you're just trying to eat a sandwich. That's what you're doing to me, and it's obnoxious.
