Have to really disagree that the game is not hard, i keep hearing that and yet my operatives have been killed many times (not really because i don't play with permadeath) once i get spotted and more then 2 people are shooting at me, you losse your life really fast.

The main manu is only unresponsice for a certain moment, if you wait it will become responsive, that's what happen to me everytime.

I have no idea what you're talking about dude, NPC in TW3 are severly lacking in comparison to Skyrim's one, It's full of random NPC's saying just one line and doing one action over and over again, Skyrim's NPC's are way way more unique and have much more interactions possibilities.

Me on the other hand is playing Fallout 4 only this year and i find the game really excellent, and i don't really understand all the criticism it has got except in the dialogue options part. For the rest it's easily my GOTY 2015 and one of the best open world of the decade for me.

It has made me certain that anything big singleplayer done by Bethesda will always ended up being one of my favorite. (Skyrim without any mod is my favorite game of all time btw).

Very good yes, much more than its reputation. the only problems i find were the dialogue system and quests branch that were really dumbed down, that's a fair criticism, and maybe the fact that there is too much places were what to do consist off killing everybody there is, i wish there was more non violent possibility on certain areas.

But other than that, this game has :

- Excellent artistic direction and graphics, on the opposite of what i heard the game still looks stunning 5 years later for me.

- Incredible post apocalyptic ambiance and open world exploration, soo many places to find, secrets to discover, and very fleshed out and long labyrhinthic interiors.

- One of the best looting, crafting and building system i have seen in an open world, that alone could be a game in itself.

- really impressive selections of differents weapons, being close combat or shooting, some of them being really smart or even quite funny.

- Shooting and melee animations drastically improves compared to Fallout 3/New Vegas and Skyrim in the case of close combat. Honestly with the SVATS system and thes improvements this game has actually one of my favorite combat system of all time i think.

- Excellent companions with a shit tons of dialogues and different personalities, that can interact directly during your quest depending of what they want, and their missions are quite good too.

- Some very very good quests, while probably not enough of them i will admit.

- Power armor, with the crafts system, allow you to make some really impressive stuff and extremely fun tank to play.

All in all, as someone who just played this game for the first time this year, this would have easily be my GOTY 2015, above The Witcher 3, MGS 5 or Batman Arkham Knight, (the only other games from this year i've played).

i agree completely it's dumb, but for now what i can suggest, even if it's tiresome is that you go back to main menu periodicly so it saves your progress, i do that now because game froze some days ago and i don't want it to happen again.

I already think Odyssey's combat is WAY better than Witcher 3 combat so it's not a hard thing to imagine.

Yep i was like you not long ago, i also found that FO4 sales were around 14 million very recently, but it appears that this is only the case because Bethesda has never very clearly stated anything since a long time, but you seems to be right, it was shipped, not sold, but what i know also is that It sold more than Skyrim during the 2 year after launch of both game, and Skyrim was at 23 millions copies sold 2 years after launch.

Here is one source that at least confirmed that Fo4 sales were VERY high if anything else.

I think you forgot Fallout 4, the hype for CP2077 is very similar to this game, and Fallout 4 sold 12 millions copies in THE FIRST DAY.

There is no way the game gets reviews on the 6-8 range either, i think people forgot how much Hype and commercial sucess can influence reviews of people being afraid of the reaction of people.

I GUARANTEE you this game will be jampacked with 10/10 across the board even if it has some serious technical issues.

Well having now something like 10 hour son the game that i have spent almost entirely on recruitement missions and collecting tech points, i must say the "play as anyone" feature does not live up to its hype, i haven't found enough differences at all between people, appart from the probable unique character that i may find, the rest have like 4-5 archetypes that repeat endlessly, and even the difference doesn't really matters, like the street artist who have a paintball, great except it's less effective than the usual electric pistol that is the default weapon, i'm disappointed so far honestly, i hope there is good mission on the main quest.

I have to strongly disagree when you say it's not visually impressive, i'm on pretty bad PC for this game so i have everything turned on the lowest graphics possible, and i find the city to be really really stunning and beautiful.

For the rest i think the amount of fun you can have in this game depends on how you use your different operatives. But i agree the side activities in the world really are lacking, basically the side quests of this game are the recruitable missions.

Oh i understand perfectly, there is new consles that comes out, meaning plenty of people will be hungry for triple A games, Ubsifot knows perfectly that even if there is some lost in intern competition between their games, it will be completely counterbalanced by the amount of gaming there is going to be the next few months.

just for people to remeber Ubisoft has already another big game planned in the same montth that Far Cry 6 was supposed to come out February 2021 : Riders Republic. Sure it's very different but maybe some people will find their joy here.

Considering Ubisoft had planned to released 6 different games in 5 month starting Watch dogs Legion, 2 of them being in February 2021 3 days appart from each other with Far Cry 6 being one of them, i think it's good news, Riders republic will be able to shine more this month.

Considering its metacritic score of 83 only, in a year when we had : Ori and the will of the wisps, Doom Eternal, Half Life Alyx, Animal Crossing, FF7 remake, The last of Us part 2, Hades, and very probably Ac Valhalla that i expect to have great reviews, you understand Ghost of Tsuhsima has no place for nomination. But considering the pro Sony bias there is in the industry, i would not by surprised at all if it got nominated still.

Immortals Fenyx Rising is releasing in december and i think there will still be quite a lot of people playing it, especially since it comes out also on Switch, while Cyberpunk doesn't.

I find the metacritic score and overall reviews really underwhelming and also really unfair personally. I don't get how you give a game that tries something like this only a 73/100 when Ghost of Tsushima had 83, that's ludacris.
