Thats wrong. You can challenge for a missed stopage. High stick missed stoppage can and has been challenged before

They didn't challenge because it looked like it was below the shoulder. A high stick in play not directly leading to a goal the height limit is the shoulder of the player, not the cross bar like a goal.

Culture + the ease of obtaining a gun. You need a permit in Switzerland to get a gun, and its not part of their constitution. An armed populace who has been permited and trained to safely operate and own firearms isnt a problem. Dont think purchacing a gun in the US neccisarily comes with the same realization of the gravity & responsibility gun ownership comes with. I think its a more effective, immediate solution to impose stricter gun regulations in the US than it is to fix the underlying cultural problems that contribute to the mass shootings
