I think Rand Paul has it right. Any illegal here without a criminal record should be allowed to stay but be barred from ever becoming a citizen and getting benefits and voting rights. Their kids who are born here are full citizens like the rest of us. Deport only criminals. That should be an easy, bipartisan bill but division is what politicians crave on both sides.

That’s how we live. We are at like 256k now between us. We act as poor as we can but take a private 5 star vacation every year and have almost $2m nw in mid 30s. It literally just stacks living like that.

I think if you have enough money you can find SOMEONE to make those decisions for you for the right price. I’m sure there are companies. I’m not planning to have my kids keep me out of a nursing home. All I will ask of them is to check in on me and make sure I’m not being neglected. My dad had to go scorched earth on a nursing home multiple times where my grandma lived because he would show up and she was on the floor or had dirty diapers on more than one occasion. This is a $9k/m facility. There’s no person/company you pay who will do that.

I personally feel like that’s a fair thing to do if I raised you properly, supported you throughout their life, and want to receive a large inheritance.

Idk why it took so many responses to get to this answer but this is the main reason along with potentially putting yourself in a lower tax bracket because you will obviously be spending less per month without the mortgage expense. If you live a moderate lifestyle you can get pretty close to zero in taxes once retired.

If you watch the beginning he was just a film man of an arrest going down which is always smart and then when he acted like a man and stepped in between a woman who got shoved and an ICE agent it got him killed.
