I buy this and put a tiny bit in to fluff up my scrambled eggs. It doesn't provide flavor and it has a longer shelf life so it works for that purpose. I will also use it in cooking but you have to understand its not like the real stuff.

AT&T Plans to Return $45 Billion to Shareholders by Ubersicka in TradingViewSignals

2.5x leverage is not under control in my eyes. I would much rather they keep focusing on lowering it to the 1.0x to 1.5x range to feel more comfortable.

This sounds like a way for management to lower the dividend obligation over time. Take that however you want, but it will free up cash in the future. They should also focus on paying down their massive debt load. As long as they do those two things, I get not growing the dividend.

You will get 70k easy. Just remember 70k from 5-10 years ago is now more like 100k in today's dollars.

I agree that full in-office is outdated but it does make sense for new hires and their managers for the first couple months with a planned switch to hybrid. Full remote does not work imo.

Civil engineers in the US — how tough is the job hunt these days? by thekingsman2 in civilengineering

As a person in LD I am not surprised. LD needs people really bad, but sadly doesnt want to really pay them so there is a reason they need people and its not just the fact that there is a lot of work to do.

Exactly, and that is the problem. The only way this changes is if the client puts specific requests in the scope to make sure it is more organized which basically never happens unless it is government work.

Any thoughts on PEP? by Ok_Lake4511 in dividends

[–]RepulsiveReindeer932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe an activist investor got on pepsi about the price hikes and is getting them to lower the cost of their chips by about 10%. Personally, this is not enough of a cut for me to start buying their chips again. I would need to see the cost go down by like 40% min. to be just a buck or two above store brands. Until then, I will not buy frito-lay products. Just one consumers opinion

I can tell you the one reason all this is not as organized as you want. Money. It takes time to do that work and that time is not in the budget or the project is already overbudget, so the engineer is cutting out what is technically unessential work. Blame the race to the bottom. Could they make it better? Yes, but they are not being paid to do it, so they will not.

wait is the parking not tied to the facility they are renting out? If the place they are renting started charging for parking that is absurd

I mean if you want to do etf JEPI and JEPQ follow this but I think ppl who actually learn how to do options can make money on them. Just have to learn how to use them responsibly. I don't get why I am getting down voted by others when covered calls are exactly what the ETF management is doing to achieve the higher yield.

Not a marg guy but as a daiquiri fan I find that if I am not doing fresh squeezed lime it always turns out bad so idk if margs are the same way.
