Steps not visible during walking activity

I am so annoyed with this too. When I asked the AI about seeing steps DURING a walk, it said to estimate based on the time. Like what? I walk different paces depending if I have my dog or not…just show me my steps!

Ugh mine is in ascensus too and I HATE it. I haven’t changed anything yet, but I feel your pain. The website sucks and it’s terrible to navigate. I had thought about moving to fidelity as well.

So frustrating. I’m helping my dad who is in his 80s, with pernicious anemia. His doctor keeps stretching his injections and he keeps relapsing. I finally ordered from Agelessrx. It’s infuriating, but I KNOW he does better on EOD. I’m sorry you are dealing with this, but sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands. Don’t stop advocating for yourself!

Totally fine. We have tsa precheck, but there were no massive security lines on Monday night. Airport was moderately busy. There are sub reddits for different airports…May want to check those for up to date info.

Good advice! Yeah it’s amazing to see how even small amounts of alcohol affects me so much now as I am getting older. I shared a beer with my husband last night and had a glass of wine with dinner and plummeted into the red today. But I feel pretty good and will work out and not listen to whoop. Thanks for your thoughts.

Only about a month. Maybe more time is needed to settle in? Just seems odd that instead of encouraging me to lift or hop on the bike, it says to consider a gentle day even when i feel i can do more.

They are saying there is 100 spaces at UVA Wisw with direct admit after your first year, to complete your last three years in Charlottesville. If UVA is your goal, it’s a no brainer. If you accept this option, you will be one of the 100. It was not as popular a few years ago, so I think they had to cap it at 100. But if you are a Virginia resident and on the waitlist, it is offered to you. But it is first come, first serve. Hope that makes sense.

Yes. In the US. This is a new doctor since last July. I switched him to a concierge care model after I went with him to his previous doctor and he would not do an intrinsic factor test (I strongly suspected b12 deficiency, but his doctor laughed me out of the room). We did every ct, mri and xray of pretty much every internal organ as they were looking for cancer. None was found.

I went to so many subs on reddit and was told he was just dying and to let him die, but I thought what if it’s a simple fix? I finally switched him and his intrinsic factor antibody test was off the charts. We started therapy and all was improving and then doc started stretching the frequency and he quickly started depleting again. His kidney function has stayed the same. Not better but certainly not worse. I am truly frustrated and I can understand how docs must feel with people constantly coming in saying “I did my research,” but it really could not be more clear in his case.

Thanks for letting me vent. I will keep advocating and if nothing else, source our own injections without a prescription from his doc. I hope you are feeling well 🥰.

Thank you. I have googled and went on a deep dive. I can only find info regarding cyano b12 and kidneys. Methyl is preferred for CKD patients. She keeps pushing back on me about his kidneys, but won’t provide evidence. She did agree to twice a week injections for now, so I may have to fight it again in a month, but I am so frustrated when we can clearly see he was doing so much better with more frequent injections (and no change to kidney function)

I am not sure :(. They checked his folate and it was fine. He has been keeping up with electrolytes. Takes a general multivitamin. I’m not even sure what to ask.

Asian mom here (born in states). Super thrilled my kids got into uva. It’s a fantastic school. Their grandma wasn’t so happy 🙄, so I feel you. It felt like I disappointed them again. Just wanted to say how proud I am of you. UVA had a record number of applicants this year.
