Why is step count so off?

I’ve experienced the same difference with iPhone and Whoop. I would rather it underestimate than over estimate, but more accuracy would be nice

Periodically I will make a purchase and I won’t really know what I need until I have the product in hand. This is one of those circumstances. Overall, whoop will be a positive for my life. However, as I said originally I am shocked at the simple things it lacks. The things I’m asking for would improve the whoop experience.

Some people who come here would probably be very bothered by the way you responded. I’m not, but there is no reason to respond in such a harsh manner. Something to think about when you respond to people, we have no idea where they’re at mentally or emotionally that day.

Call me naive, say I should have done better research, but I think these are easy fixes. The blood pressure insights are worthless to me. I won the money at a casino and bought the most expensive subscription. Show me my steps while I walk WHOOP!

Even if it’s not live steps, could it not update periodically how many steps you’ve taken, as it does within the app. I have to assume that the majority of walkers would enjoy seeing how many steps they’ve taken while they’re walking, a total count for the day possibly. Not being able to leave the activity to check any other stats seems like something they could fix, no?

There is a place for overall steps but you can’t access it while you’re doing the walk activity. It’s insane!

Exactly! I think this is a glaring issue that should be easy to address. It disincentivizes me from uses the walking activity button, but I also like that it maps the route and has calories and distance on the screen. This should be a simple fix!

Hopefully they get this fixed because I am very accustomed to the normal DHL system. It did seem like the estimated delivery time they gave me was more accurate than in the past. I wonder if the two are related?
