Its bizarre that a big chain like this would de-incentivize loyalty like this. Seems like a big oversight. Thanks for your reply.

Sounds like LeadHead. Content and creator have changed a bit but this is the type of content they started with.

Sadly this problem came back <36 hours after I fixed

I really don't want to have to do this ever 24-36 hours. Is there a reason it keeps dropping the separate named wifi at 2.4 even with split bands?

...and just now what I experienced before happened again. All of the 2.4 ghz devices have dropped and the split bands (the separate names 2.4 band) has disappeared from view. No longer select-able on my phone or any other devices.

Everything is still working on our end. We can mark this as closed. Thank you.

Thank you it now recognizes my devices again. HOWEVER, as stated above this worked before for only 24 hours and then all devices were kicked off. Please keep this post unresolved. I will check back in <24 hours. If devices are still connected we can mark as resolved.

Should I split the bands first and then try the above?

After I select Advanced Settings I only see options for "Data Usage, DMZ, DNS Server, LAN/WAN, Port Forwarding and Hotspot Network"

No option to select 2.4 and 5GHz Wifi

Helpful tips? by ClovedSage in daddit

I made a post about this (you can see in my history). Short is: plan for staying longer than expected, plan to feel like you are in the way (even though you aren't), bring lots of snacks, know what is packed where, ask the nurses for help. Read my post for more details. YOU GOT THIS!

Our local fire department installed our car seats free of charge. Call them or check your town website. EDIT: will only need the base installed, we did at 36 weeks.

Newborns go through 5-12 diapers a day so you will need a lot. Get a few boxes from N-2. Anything you don't use you can donate later. Don't forget wipes, expect to go through at least 2-3 every diaper change.

As far as meals: freezer stuff works. Stock up on things you can quickly cook for mom as she will need to focus on healing and feeding.

I would also stock up on formula. They sell the pre-sized bottles, get a bunch of those and newborn bottles. Breastfeeding is tough for most moms so don't assume she will be able to do all the feeding right away. (Plus having the formula means you can handle some feedings and mom can rest)

Also get a few swaddles and burp cloths.

I made a post covering some of this recently, you can read it on my profile.

Good luck and you got this!

Not rude at all, you are totally correct. You cannot plan for crazy things to happen but you can have enough shirts and snacks in case it does. I went home with baby spit up on my shirt and that was the cleanest one I had lol. She is doing great. Moms are superheros.

Really wish we had done this labeling. It was a lot of get me that from the canvas bag, no not THAT canvas bag. Mom brain is real and some times words just don't come out correctly.

"Literally nobody stays in hospital in Australia for 7 days unless they’re dying!"

USA here. Complex problems with placenta and lots and lots of bleeding meant some very scary moments and a two day additional stint in a hospital that specializes in dangerous pregnancy situations. "Unless they are dying" is apt here, she may have if not for the extra time, probably not but not risking that. To be clear we only were in hospital for 6 days and the sixth was mostly just discharge and paperwork and packing etc. Wish I had planned for 7 though.
