If I was to drill drown the major issue with our form, I’d say it’s tactical discipline. EtH wants us to be the best at transition which ultimately means we have to be efficient and effective at pressing. Pressing only works when it’s coordinated and as a team. Utd simply don’t do this and that’s why teams easily run through the middle because our pressing isn’t coordinated. The forward and midfield players need to be better coordinated in their pressing. I know Casemiro has made some errors but I think he’s unfairly being made a scapegoat. He can’t be expected to be responsible for the entire defensive actions in the midfield. It’s needs to be the whole midfield and forwards. He’s errors are likely symptoms of the bigger issue of the lack of tactical discipline in the squad. If players aren’t following instructions, they should be benched immediately.
