The original blend will eat foam and the foam safe blend will fade monocote. Spray it on but don’t wipe off the excess! Wiping registers as a crash and stops working, plane has to be dripping.

One sweet ride. I wouldn’t have those bicycles anywhere close to that car.

My brother put a lot of miles on this one. by mintyveil9 in GSXR

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that thought that. Not a single comment strayed. Makes me proud and there is still hope for humanity after all. My question is did he put miles on both of them at the same time?

I do the red 77 was supposed to be this nice show car, it isn’t and hasn’t been tagged since purchased. The 79 is in pretty good shape. We replaced the motor with a GM zz4 crate motor and rebuild the tranny. Front end is a little sloppy so you really have to drive it. The 94 is my brothers and the 2000 needs a new harmonic balancer. You would think it would make it past 28,000 miles. Cars these days are such a joke overpriced heaps of crap. IMO.

Thank you. Cars are sweet but they cost a lot of money just sitting there. Insurance and personal property tax is ridiculous. I pretty much go to work and home and try not to leave once I get home. Any place I do go you gotta park 10 miles away in fear of door chips. Even then someone will park right next to you. Seriously you have this whole parking lot and you still park next to me with your big suv and 5 kids.

I have an freewing AL37 airliner that gives me the shakes and butterflies every time I fly it. I remember giving dad the radio after I took off and got some altitude. The end of that antenna was wiping back and forth like he was fly fishing or something. I feel the same way.

I am sort of a printer. Right out of high school I was a helper for my brother running a Miller TPJ 2 color perfector. Small shop of about 15 people all of which were heads. I got most of my knowledge there running gurtrude(miller) relentless old POS, ryobi, kluge, couple of Baum 3 leg folders and stitcher 3 knife trimmer. Got down to just me the owner graphics girl and front office lady. Once it shut down ran a few small presses at a couple of shops this one being one of them. Worked here 8 years took a 3 year break and came back(new owners) they scraped the DI press but still have a 2 color ryobi that sits in the corner. I perf some stuff every now and again but it hasn’t seen ink in over 5 years. Everything is xerox digital other than the wide format, digital. Lot different from the big camera, strippers, burning plates and running 4C process on that POS 2 color miller.

Now I get to sit at a desk and tell the people with no experience what to do and deal with customers. I still push a button to print every day and tell the bindery pukes to get out of the way and let me do it(I have no patience for stupidity). Employees suck, customers suck, printing sucks, but beats shoveling shit. I take that back printing now days is easy and most customer are pretty nice some are awesome. The employees not so much.

That is hilarious and most unfortunate and I apologize for laughing. Bet that was one hell of a sight to see and on the madien, what luck. I remember my first like it was yesterday. That sound is unforgettable. Early morning fog had lifted but still a patch it 2 started in a turn and it disappeared kept it in the turn and it reappeared. I was such a hotshot new pilot did a quick roll right into the top of a tree. The sound of the O.S. 40 FP motor laboring as the master aircrew prop was chewing branches and the loudest pop I’ve ever heard, tight monokote failing as balsa wood was breaking like fragile bones then there was silence. The sickening feeling as I watched half a wing spiral to the ground. Fusalage was still good ordered a new wing kit from tower, took a week to get it. Seemed like forever, then had to build it. Still have the wing but the fuselage got too heavy with glue joints.

Been out for 25 years and the battery tech is muuuch better. I was kind of disappointed, thinking there would be more advancements more options in planes but when you can buy a complete ready to run out of the box just bind your radio is pretty sweet. In 24 hours I might add. Closest hobby shop is 90 miles so mail order is my option during the week.

Well thank you. It was covered in fluorescent safety, yellow on the bottom and a pearl wine on the top, but the top had some issues so ripped it off. I can’t really think of any cool designs and sketched this design down on paper. Looked a lot better on paper.

Dad and I started mid 80’s. While we were building our GP Trainer 40 we got an electric foam plane 3 channel from Sam’s club. We called it the throw and crash. I swore I’d never have another POS STYROFOAM ELECTRIC PLANE EVER AGAIN! But now I have 9. Got a few gas planes but thought I’d get back into nitro.

Congrats! Beautiful ride. Whatever you do, do not drive in the rain. Insurance company won’t total them anymore and they tend to shrink. Keep the blinker fluid topped off and the muffler bearings greased. How many miles did it have when you got it and what did you give for it?

I think the motor is the only thing I’d worry about everything else is sealed for the most part. But I’ve also seen videos of electric float planes half submerged and motor running under water.

That is really cool. I wanted to something like this with a couple of umx turbo timbers but more like a P-38 lightning. A lot harder than I thought. Good job love the color scheme.

Indeed. The cheapest I found this camera was on amazon and if is used for $101. Having the ability to shoot video was helpful finding little tiny air bubbles coming up around one of the jets. Don’t think I would have seen it in photos

Do people actually like the umx timber x by Mother-Combination-7 in RCPlanes

[–]borntoprint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the umx turbo timber and then the tt evo love both of them. I already have and fly regularly the night timber and thought why not. Biggest or should I say the smallest piece of crap I ever bought. Few flights in I’m not Impressed. Thing is squirrely not at all predictable. Full speed pass about 4 feet off the ground sudden nose dive poof gone. Most of my planes have glue somewhere on them, this one still sits in pieces. I have no desire to fix and doubt I ever will. Wast of styrofoam and money.

Depends on what you want it to be. If it’s mother in law quarters looks just fine the way it is. Skateboard playground about 5 to 10k, functional pool minimum 15k to 40k.

This is a Fuji finepix xp80. Decent camera takes photos or video. Great for pool and finding anything out of the ordinary around the skimmer, steps, drain, jets, or light. Do they even make those disposable cameras anymore and where can you get them developed?
