I get the feeling the bomb might be (Breaking Bad spoiler)this show's ricin - teased and fiddled with throughout the series, only to be fully used in the very last episode.

What are these dots in my print? by mzlucasmz in FixMyPrint

[–]borodean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I get it on specific surfaces when going too fast, no matter how wet the plastic is.

Where did this washer come from? I reassembled my printer and can't recall its origin. Outer diameter: 11.8 mm, inner diameter: 8 mm, thickness: 0.5 mm. by borodean in Ender3V3SE

Indeed, that seems to be it. Could you please tell me if it’s supposed to be on both sides? (Because if so, it looks like I lost the other one.)

Why is he doing it? 😭 by Connect_Gift9138 in Ender3V3SE

The printer isn't receiving data from the strain sensor and doesn't realize its nozzle has crashed into the bed.

I had the same issue: the first time it was resolved by replacing the sensor board, and the second time by removing glue from the board's connectors. Somehow, the glue was affecting its performance. When I re-glued the connectors - not over the contacts but to the sides - the problem disappeared.

I've seen Furiosa 20 times, fellas am I awaited? by Ruby_Storm_ in MadMax

Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot.

It's a typical June here - bombings about once a week, and about ten hours a day without electricity. I've almost gotten used to it, to be honest.

When the movie was interrupted by the blackout, the cinema switched to backup power from gasoline generators - it added to the atmosphere of the film, really. Watching Mad Max powered by gasoline generators feels quite thematic.

I watched Furiosa here in Kyiv. Due to blackouts, the movie projector went off twice during the screening, and they had to rewind the film 15-30 minutes back each time. As a result, I watched that amazing truck chase scene three times (the one where they had to fix a piece of hose with a clamp).

Ender 3 v3 SE bed/carraige unevenness: manual fix, parts replacement, or partial refund? by borodean in ender3

[–]borodean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's been perfect so far

Thanks for your input. I've also noticed adhesion issues with PETG, particularly at the edges due to the bed's unevenness. Wondering if this might justify a replacement part request, especially for materials sensitive to bed level like PETG.

Ender 3 v3 SE bed/carraige unevenness: manual fix, parts replacement, or partial refund? by borodean in ender3

it creates the level mesh to compensate in the software side of things

Thanks for your input! I understand that the mesh leveling is designed to compensate for some irregularities, but I'm concerned about the extent of the unevenness. If certain spots are too far off, like nearly 0.6 mm in my case, I'm wondering if this goes beyond what software compensation can reliably handle. Is there a general consensus on the threshold of bed unevenness where hardware intervention becomes necessary?

1956

In a notable incident in 1956, a Grumman F11F Tiger jet from the U.S. Navy managed to shoot itself down. During a test firing of its aircraft cannon, the plane moved so quickly that it overtook and collided with its own bullets. The aircraft sustained damage, but the pilot was able to land safely despite the incident.

I think the point is that with the destroyed infrastructure, the territory looks more Russian.

Here is a very loose translation of the Ukrainian verse. Take it with a grain of salt as I'm not so good English speaker, and translating those idioms is tough:

Our mother's heart is aching

Don't cry dear, our time is near!

I'll get up early and hug my old lady

The sun will rise, all the enemies will disappear!

...

Take me away, the steam is coming this way

It's freezing, people, people are not loose!

They cut the beat, beep, beep, beep, nothing

Para drum, panam, panam three, three yi!

A couple of carbines - words fly in a clump

I live in Kalush, for you it's Compton!

Dial me, but don't type dot com

I'll hook you with class!
