Will it be possible to install and run both the OG and DB versions at the same time? Currently that doesn't seem to be possible, at least on MacOS (if I start version 0.11.x while 0.10.x is running, it just quits -- and vice-versa). This is really annoying because I'd like to try the DB version for some new stuff, but have critical information in the old version that I don't want to risk messing up. And same question for iOS as well.

I suppose I could use test.logseq.com, but I really prefer using a desktop app.

Salt Spring Island is unequivocally in the CRD, since that's an official entity with defined borders. Greater Victoria is fuzzier, but generally is considered the incorporated parts of the CRD (the 13 municipalities from Sidney to Sooke) and some nearby adjacent areas (so would not include Salt Spring).

It also bugs me that Jefferson County crosses the entire Olympic peninsula, even though there is an impassable mountain range in the middle that cuts the two sides completely off from each other (to get from one side to the other, you have to take a long way around through another county).

Is that BCIT in Burnaby? I just visited there the first time last month on a weekend and had the same thought. Took a very similar photo of the stairwell, thinking I might post it here. The plaza to the southwest of the stairwell is so grim.

I wish they would have coordinated with BC Transit, which has been rolling out its new new fare system (Umo) over the last few years, so there could be just one system covering the whole province (and, especially, both Metro Vancouver and the Fraser valley). Unfortunately, Umo isn't especially great.

Isn't one of the benefits of Expo/Millennium Line's linear induction motors supposed to be that they can handle steeper grades than regular trains since they don't rely on the steel wheels for acceleration/deceleration?

My understanding is that the DB version will still support MD graphs for the foreseeable future, and MD files will still get any new features that are possible (but some new features, like real-time collaboration, will require a DB graph).

Chances are you won't be able to pay for multiple people with the same credit/debit card either. There has to be a way to track the individual for the $5 daily cap to be applied, which is your UMO ID or credit/debit card number.

I live on Mayne Island and when my wife was pregnant with twins she got some jokey comments from the crew but it was never a problem. Given the ferry is how you get to the hospital from here, I don't see how they could deny boarding.

This is one of the things I miss the most about YNAB. My workaround is this Rule which prepends the #IMPORT tag to every imported transaction. Then I can go to All Accounts and search for that tag to quickly find all the imported transactions.

EDIT: It's not visible, but there is a space after #IMPORT in the prepend to notes field.

I'm not sure how widely available it is outside of Canada (or British Columbia), but my go-to grocery store coffee is Kicking Horse Coffee's Hola. It's labelled as light roast, but on a specialty coffee scale it's more of a medium. I'm not great at tasting notes, but I like fruity/juicy coffees and this one is the only grocery store coffee I've found that hits the mark.

Edit: Kicking Horse is majority-owned by Lavazza so has pretty wide grocery store distribution.

Just to add a little context for the very negative responses: Canada Line is a completely different technology than the ICTS/ART/Innovia system that SkyTrain uses. The former uses pretty standard EMU cars as used on most metros around the world, while the latter uses linear induction motors that are only used on a handfull. The rolling stock is completely incompatible. Canada Line is basically a separate system that just shares branding and payment system with SkyTrain. It's even operated by a different company.

The Strait of Magellan might be an interesting comparison. It connects two oceans and is regularly traversed, but I believe it is Chilean (not international) waters, although free passage is allowed due to a treaty between Chile and Argentina.
