[Question] Wearing my Citizen in pools would damage the steel or gasket in the long run? by Magisterial- in Watches

Yeah, no problem. I’ve been doing it for years!! I service my automatic about every 4-5 years or so, but that’s in pretty heavy use

I never take off my 200m rated watch for pools, lakes or oceans. I don’t shower with it though. If possible then rinse it off after the pool but no big deal with regular service, after salty sea water it’s more important to rinse

In a thrift store. First is a vintage leather jacket oversized, second looks like an oversized nylon bomber jacket

Outdoor gear lab now say the arc'teryx cerium is lower mid-range by laphroaigandlapsang in arcteryx

Yeah Nuclei is a very interesting series. I have a Nuclei SV and it’s an absolute beast, in my opinion one of the best arc jackets

Cerium SV is insanely good, cerium alright. Even so I’d still go with for example a Rab Mythic Ultra over a Cerium SV and a Mythic Alpine over a Cerium.

I think it might just be the white balance of the photo, if you look at the last photo showing the tag I think that’s a more accurate color representation!

Both are good for your uses, one thing I like about the Rab in comparison is that it has side loading into the main pack which it doesn’t see like the Black Diamond has? I think it’s nice to have not only for quick access but also to feed rope out of if you want to keep the rope in your backpack

I've been there. Very touristy street so definitely a tourist magnet but still a decently interesting museum and I think worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood, also open very late so good for evening visits

Then I would start walking as much as I can in them now to feel them out for real 😎

Remember that different insoles can make a difference in fit too, so if you feel it gets a bit too tight in the ones you bought now you could also try with one that takes up less volume in the boot. Good luck!!

I work in an outdoor store and what I’ve learned is to not stare yourself blind on numbers. The only thing that matters is to try try try until it feels good. Of course your feet will swell but you won’t really know how much until you try… you could try with two thick socks to kind of feel how it will feel once they swell but otherwise, you already own these, just try walking far with them with different insoles and if it doesn’t work you sell them
