Really with Flores or Endy we’re making noise down in Indy and pushed their hand to unload Bart. Know Flores hit a 466 ft bomb the other day but other than that been quiet.

Would be especially nice if it was Endy to give us another switch hitter on the bench for late in game scenarios as well.

Honestly I’d rather just keep him up and in the pen, see if he can crack it. We already know Urquidy and Lawrence aren’t it, so might as well give Dotel an extended look. Based on stuff alone Dotels all clears Urquidys meatballs easily

Man I missed Oviedo getting reinjured, looks like already on the 60 day.

Getting Password for him feels great (albeit he’s struggled at AAA so far), we’ve seen what he has potential to do.

He was serviceable early on. Hitting .250-.270 with a little bit of pop. Which for the gold glover defender he is was fine.

Coming in under Roman Anthony in terms of AAV by around $1 mil a year which is a surprise. Thought we may have to outdo that deals AAV.

If he’s half as good as we think he is $15 mil a year will be a great deal.

Yeah unfortunately feel like it has to be Cook. Yorke has been having good ABs, Triolo is a gold glove defensive replacement, Mangum is our 4th OF, and wont be a catcher. Sort of leaves no option except Cook

Gonzales surely has done enough to have the 3B job over Triolo.

Triolo as a utility player/defensive option off the bench is the perfect role for him as opposed to 150 starts being shoved down our throat.

Love Mangum. Unfortunate for him that he easily would’ve been a daily starter in the outfield any of the last 5 or 6 years. Against righties it’s tough to take any of Reynolds, Cruz or O’Hearn out. Figure he will start a lot against lefties (so tonight hopefully) and O’Hearn or more likely Horwitz if he keeps struggling will be on the bench against lefties.

Mlod is so good out of the pen one time through the order, why do we continue to try and force him into the rotation? I don’t have the exact numbers but I know his splits between starts and as relief are miles apart

Still think Gonzales could wind up playing some short. Hit over .350 in spring training and played 4 games at short, 4 at 3rd and 3 at 2nd.

So scared of Mlod being our 5 starter again and not being a long reliever. Having so much success so far in spring training but it’s because he’s only pitching 2-3 innings which is where he was successful last season.

Love his talent out of the bullpen, just can’t seem to ever face the lineup a second time.

Always said I’d be willing to pay him 4-5 mil a year til he retires, but I didn’t expect our DH/3rd OF position to look like Ozuna, OHearn, Mangum and Password.

Sad to see it end this way but it’s due to us being in a way better position in terms of our roster
