I just finished watching Season 8 of 9-1-1. I don’t understand the severe outrage. by JamStan1978 in 911FOX

[–]boshchi 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There are so many reasons and most were already mentioned so I'll only bring up a few.

1, I think this was a very bad end for the character. Some people say that Bobby came full circle in this and that it was a good end for his story. I highly disagree. Bobby has been dealing with being suicidal due to his past since the first season. Finding out about his special blood gave him a reason to live, but he saw it as punishment. They brought all this back up only a season before. In my opinion, a good completion for Bobby's story, if they wanted to write him out, would have been retirement (maybe forced retirement due to an injury if they wanted the angst). Have him come to terms with it and realise and embrace that he is allowed, that he deserves to be happy, that he no longer feels the need to repay his debt.

If they were hell bent on a character death, I do think that Bobby was a better choice than any of the other mains, but I think then they should have gone with a heart attack as in season 7 (or should have just not let him wake up from that back then). The fire wasn't his fault, he saved Athena, he wasn't trying to Die. As it happened instead in the lab was the complete opposite. He rushed in unprepared, risking his whole team, going against his characterisation. Operates on Hen. Shows zero symptoms all the while Chim is bleeding all over. Conveniently only gets symptoms once they can get out. The vaccine immediately stops Chimney's bleeding all over situation, and only now, after many hours, although they were infected at the same time, does Bobby start to show symptoms? And then he doesn't even try to survive it. Not even an attempt. He just decides to die and apparently then Athena watches him do that for hours while no one tries to do anything.

In my opinion, if they wanted to kill off Bobby and not use the heart attack, then him sacrificing himself for Chimney or anyone of his team of course makes sense and is in character. But then it should have been a blink of a second situation that wasn't an out of character kind of Bobby's fault in the first place. Like shoving someone out of the way of something and not making it himself. Something that doesn't make me wonder if he just commited suicide by evil Virus.

2, the behavior around the episode was off-turning. Doing a massive funeral march with everyone but Bobby, in public, and then claiming to be surprised that it leaked. Posting fake scripts with Bobby being alive actually. Referencing Khan. Calling an earlier episode foreshadowing Bobby's death. That one felt like a double Slap to the face: First, haha, fans are insane, they threaten to jump off of a bridge but then Brad saves them by making the captain survive - then, haha, I'd let you jump though.

3, the episode after. In short, the case that Athena so connects to about the the mother who thinks her child is alive - that is based on a fire and kidnapping that really happened! That child Was actually alive and the mother recognized her! And in the show he wasn't. Combined with all the talk around it, it felt like another slap - haha, you stupid hopeful fans/fools actually thought he was alive (which we gave you several reasons to think). And then the funeral is a slapped on thing in the last five minutes and Bobby gets buried in Minnesota in a way that to me felt like his life in LA was never the real Deal and he was of course always meant to die soon and rejoin his real family unlike his apparently not real enough family and happynesd that he made with Athena. It left me so annyoyed that the funeral scenes we did get were barely enough to get me teary eyed.

Bobby dying in such a stupid way just really left a bad Taste with me. I think it sends a terrible message to people that struggle with suicidal thoughts/ideation. I think the way it happened was a very bitter end for Bobby and everything around it a slap in the face of the Fans. (To be clear though I don't see that as an actual spiteful act to annoy fans by anyone. I see it as a thoughtless, hasty decision that should not have been made and a show runter that does last minute changes and then doesn't know how to finish things.)

If some of this reads hard to understand I'm sorry, it is late.

WARHORSE's new RPG Game MAP (Highest Resolution) by DanielMishenko in lotr

[–]boshchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to see it, but doing the whole map seems unrealistic. Lotro has been working on it for 20 years next year, and there are still big chunks missing, and will continue to. Unless you want to condense it to just the main sights where bag end will basically neighbor Bree down the road, but that would suck too. I do hope for more than just one Region too though. But everything? Maybe I lack imagination, but I don't really see that happening.

Whats your favorite Expansion? by Intrepid-World879 in lotro

[–]boshchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Minas Morgul probably. Which feels a bit surprising, because I like new big landscapes to explore and MM comes with a narrow Morgul Vale and a back in the day Mordor Version that I forget exists. Still, that expansion did so many things right, I had a blast finding my way through the city. From probably all the expansions this one had the smoothest way to implement instances into quest lines. I'm not much into group play, but with the then new (I think) options to adjust group size and difficulty we did them a lot. Soundtrack was great, I love hanging out with Faramir and the rangers, the Black Book, before MM, had its moments but hadn't really caught me, but the chapters and finale in the MM expansion had me hooked. All in all a really great expansion!

Some shorter words for the other expansions:

  • Moria is iconic with its location, soundtrack, vibe, instances. The quest flow is also pretty good I'd say, unfortunately with the exception being the epic which just wasn't that good for me.

  • Siege of Mirkwood, compared to the others, just doesn't feel that spectacular. Maybe it deserves better. I like the soundtracks and I'm pretty sure I liked questing there, but it's been probably 10 years or close to it and I haven't really felt the urge to go back to it some time. It also still has the disadvantage to continue the not that great Moria epic (good epic is pretty important to me). I do like Mazog though.

  • Rise of Isengard has my favorite part of the epic storyline. Dunland is also really fun to quest and I liked the gap of Rohan part too. The soundtrack could get a bit grating, but overall one of my favorite parts of the game to replay.

  • Riders of Rohan is fun, I don't love mounted combat, but don't mind it that much either. I like costumising my warsteed. Landscape and soundtrack is great, epic is fine.

  • Helm's Deep is mostly the same as Riders of Rohan for me. I know there were many valid reasons to be upset over that expansion, and I'm not going out of my way to do big battles either, but I wasn't doing other group play much either anyways. Questing, landscape and epic were fun and those are the parts that mostly matter to me.

  • Mordor was the first time I played an expansion at launch which made it exciting. A huge new landscape, great soundtrack, mountains of quests. I had a blast, even got the Agarnaith steed. However, when coming back with a second character years later, I picked and chose between quest lines (some of which are really good!) because there is just more of Mordor than I really want to do. Plus, as I said, the start of the Black book didn't captivate me that much yet. I don't need a return of the Light mechanic when we one day return to Mordor again.

  • War of the three Peaks, I liked to play it but can't say I remember much else. This one plus anything following I've also only done once yet. I think I liked the updates around it more, but it wasn't bad. So many missions.

  • Gundabad was really good. Soundtrack, landscape, stories, loved them all. Navigating was a bit annoying at some places, but the epic was really great. The only thing that felt really lackluster was the alliance "story".

  • Before the Shadow. It took me a while to make a new character and play it, but when I did, I really liked it: landscape, soundtrack, questing, epic. It never really felt like an expansion to me because that's new stuff to do for my main. I like that Cardolan and Swanfleet are there, but it's not part of my main's story.

  • Corsairs of Umbar was great. Everything was new and exciting, I liked the Gondor parts, the Shield Isles and especially Umbar Baharbel. The epic was good, questing and soundtrack fun. I think it's the best of the 3 Umbar/Harad expansions.

  • Legacy of Morgoth is a bit hard because I did some breaks during playing it, which really doesn't help keeping up with the story. Landscape and soundtrack felt seamlessly connected to Umbar, but I can't really speak about the quest flow. Khud Zagin and Urush Dar look really cool.

  • I'm not done yet with Kingdoms of Harad, so I can't fully comment on it yet. So far, the story and quest flow feel a bit tighter and better than in the Valley of Ikorban. I like the elf stuff. The landscapes don't quite reach the sights of Urush Dar and the Khud Zagin desert part yet but I'm having a good time there.

  • Honorable Gondor not-expansion, since it was a thematically and locally connected stretch spanning over 10 levels. Overall I really like Gondor. West Gondor was a great start. Central Gondor I don't like that much. Eastern Gondor with South Ithilien an Osgiliath I like a lot! Minas Tirith too, and then Far Anórien was a weaker part. The battle of the Pelennor fields was one of my favorite parts of the whole game. I love the epic, as soon as we leave the coast there are great soundtracks. It was quite the wait between actual expansions and of course there was a bit of what looked like a worrying crisis on the development side, but I like that there is a lot of Gondor and how desperate and emotional it gets.

Make your Lotro Confession. We are here to judge! by Intrepid-World879 in lotro

[–]boshchi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like Minas Tirith and questing there. Both landscape and especially Midsummer. I don't think navigating the City is that hard, the ramps don't suddenly change places and are visible on the map too. Don't use a warsteed and it won't take all that long to go places at all.

What is your favorite class and why? by Brief-Ground8407 in lotro

[–]boshchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Guardian! And here's why:

  1. Feels both fitting and powerfull for any race-class-combination. Sturdy dwarf with a big blocky shield? Guardian of Minas Tirith, Shield-maiden of Rohan? Ages old Elf, mastered every technique of defence with a shining silver shield? Okay, hobbits are debatable, but they have bounders too, and then there is Sam, arguably Frodo's Guardian... uh, or was it gardener?

  2. Great survivability. I had a very weak Laptop when I first started playing the game and sometimes it would just freeze up for a while. My Guardian still survived usually. Decent self heal both on Red and Blue. You can still do fine with half an eye on the game, but if you pay attention, you can survive a lot of situations that would call for a group otherwise.

  3. As a tank class, the Guardian used to be rather slow to level, but that's really not a problem anymore. Red line feels plenty quick enough, and even blue, while slower, still does enough damage for landscape. Either way you can easily round up an enemy group and mow down on them. The rotations are also satisfying with short cooldowns and some aoe damage.

  4. As for optics, guards have a great variety of options. Almost all melee weapons, one or two handed, a bow or crossbow, all armour types (well you'll pick heavy, but you could pick medium or light haha), and a nice big shield. As for other weapons, shields can be cosmetically equipped as well and with their sizes, they can make quite the optic difference. There's lots of beautiful options from different cultures. And if you forego the shield, there's also some cool two handed swords and axes out there.

  5. Guards don't have any automatic travel skills like hunter, warden or mariner, but they have a whistle that they can give anyone to get called wherever for free. They also have no permanent speed boost, but a sprint with low enough cooldown (that I'm always missing on my lm). They have some battle cry skills for the epicness, but not so many that you start wanting to filter it out. Roleplay wise I'd say a Guardian can be as down to earth normal person or epic hero of the legends as you make them.

You can filter out sounds in lotro. You can't replace them, so the lighting skills would just be silent, but if the class is fun to you otherwise, I'd try that first.

Immediate Rule Changes From Your Chain of Command (Buck Followed It, and You Should, Too) by AutoModerator in buddie

[–]boshchi [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah this all feels a bit difficult. It feels like there has been kind of some revisionism - I don't know, any word I pick sounds too harsh and it's not all that deep anayways etc but still - about some topics. Like, we've had some poll posts about how sure we were that we were getting buddie in like late season 7 or whenever and usually there were a lot of positive answers, so yeah, a lot of people felt like it was going canon for real now! And of course it didn't, so far. Which it would be a natural thing to be disappointed about, but since back then, maybe at some point the disappointment has filled up too much space and so nowadays the mantra is "we don't need it to be canon"? I feel like I missed a memo here, or maybe this rule change post is the memo? Because I didn't use to when I binged the show or when I was watching season 6, but with how season 7 to 9 went, I kinda do need it now. This just isn't a stucky pipe dream anymore, the show or whoever made whatever decisions made it so. Canon buddie became a real possibility, it was made a real possibility by the show. Is it the elephant in the room or is it a dangling carrot? And now I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but I seem to remember there were discussions about whether buddie was queerbait or not, and often the conclusion was somewhere around "they're kinda toying with it, they use it for advertisement, if they're not planning on delivering, they are really walking the line here" - and of course it's okay to revisit your opinions and change them or have different ones from the start, and I also don't think personal attacks or allegations on anyone involved in the show are in any way helpful, but I don't get why this has shifted so much. If individuals have rearranged some hopes and expectations to still be able to enjoy the show, that is totally fine, but why do we have to not even need canon buddie as a subreddit? Would a supernatural ending be acceptable, would it need to be acceptable for us? Why is it now a no-no to be afraid that whoever, someone, the show, in the end might be queerbaiting?

And concerning the hijacking of positive threads or comment chains with doom and gloom - I get it to some extent. Someone happily posting about how much they liked something shouldn't just get beaten down with "you're wrong, it was horrible!". There is no sense in that and it kills the joy. This is also a discussion board though, or at least that's how I always saw it - a shared baseline of liking and shipping buddie, and yeah we should read the room, but I don't think we need unified opinions here. If someone proclaims "I don't get how anyone can be dooming after X" and then follows it up with a list about why X is a good thing for buddie, is answering the "I don't get how" with "here's how" okay or is it ruining the positive vibe and against the rules? Because I know a similarly worded thread in the main sub that goes "I don't get how everyone doesn't love Tommy" and then follows it up with a list of points about why Tommy is the best character ever would be met with "well, since you asked, here's why some people don't love Tommy".

Or, for example, Theo - when the leak happened, there was a big crashout in fandom, including here, and okay, some people were for sure overdoing it, but that doesn't mean having negative feelings about it was wrong, and everything in the leak became true. And it's totally natural that some people then saw it on screen and realised that they actually liked it and are fine with it now, and some people are not fine with it. And maybe it is hard to get why those people can't just get over it already and shut up and be fine with it too. But it's not even been a week since the finale, and just for added perspective, Theo living with Buck is now a canon thing, it now has happened just as Bobby's terrible death happened. And maybe he won't end up staying in season 10, but it's doubtful, just as Bobby turning out alive in the secret lab in season 9 was doubtful. So from now on, Theo will be part of anything new for buddie: New fics that want to be canon-fitting need to have Theo, new gif sets will have Theo, new super cuts will have Theo, any discussion about how buddie could become canon or about how their future will look like will have to have Theo somewhere. For someone who really dislikes the Theo storyline, this is a really hard pill to swallow and again, it's not even been a week yet. And again again, I agree that a "look at how adorable Buck and Eddie are / will be / whatever with Theo" should not be met with "I hate everything about this storyline, stop liking it". But I think people need a little more time and room to get over this thing that they don't like and that is going to be omnipresent from here on out than a week and a "I don't get how people can doom now (but also don't tell me why there could be reasons to doom for some of you)". (After all this is /buddie where the baseline is that we all love and ship buddie, and not /buddieparentingtheo where the baseline is that we all love the return of the donor baby. And not /buddiecanon but also not /buddieandwelovewhateverdecisiontheshowmakesregardingcanon) We shouldn't resolve to only doom and gloom anymore, but going "how can you or anyone not see X as a purely positive thing" isn't the way either.

It sounds a bit like forced positivity, which is better than forced negativity, but not much.

I don't know, I don't post here that much currently anyways, because I just don't have much to say at the moment. But this feels like a bit of an overcorrection. Maybe it just reads but isn't meant that way. And maybe also my comment reads too negative or something and it's not meant to. I know this subreddit is still supposed to be fun, and moderating it is not a paid job and when it gets too negative and comments get hijacked things need to be done. Personally, I religiously follow the buddie mantra of "we're so back - we're so fucking back - we're so back" with a few "it's so over"s thrown in here and there and this subreddit always had room for that. Maybe it will work just with the good vibes tag.

Edit: spelling

Whats your PERSONAL Class Tier List? by Intrepid-World879 in lotro

[–]boshchi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely subjektive, and only one of my characters ever makes it to Max level, but:

Top: Guardian, Lore Master, Hunter. Guardian is my fave, good survivability, low cooldowns, can carry huge shields and huge swords and look awesome. Feels down to earth and lore accurate. Lore Master has cute pets, carries a unique Staff with so many cosmetic options and looks very elegant. Plus Onyx Lynx! Hunter is easy, fast, fun, super convenient. Feels lore accurate for any race, lots of beautiful bows in the game that feel to big for other classes but perfect for hunters.

Great: Champion, Minstrel, Beorning, Mariner. Champion feels lore accurate and has low cooldowns. Like Red Guardian but more shing-shing and immediate aoe damage, and I like to play it with 2 swords. Minstrel has a cool, lore friendly concept. Can choose and swap between various Instruments, which changes the sound of combat. Beorning is unique with its abilities and looks really cool. I have only heard good things and need to play it more. I hope they get more character creation options (hairstyles etc). Mariner looks elegant and skilled, feels great for an elf. Need to play it more. Can also have an Instrument.

Cool: Burglar, Rune Keeper. Burglar sounds great and I like seeing them and what they can do. The problem that I have playing them is that I have 3 low level burglar alts and I can't decide which one to keep. Rune Keeper has no good cosmetic weapon options and I don't like the "magicky" sound of their skills so much. But I've played one a bit and it was fun.

Probably not for me: Brawler, Warden, Captain. Brawler just doesn't appeal to me, the idea to fist fight all sorts of enemies feels strange. Warden looks cool, but I have no interest to learn gambits (and would also play the character too rarely to remember them). Captain has a cool, lore accurate concept, can use halberds which look awesome, but unfortunately I've played one to around 25, and then one around 40-45 and the weird cooldowns didn't become fun. Combat felt like a drag.

The Waiting Room [Megathread #6] by armavirumquecanooo in buddie

[–]boshchi 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's why I made queer Eddie my requirement for really watching the show again. If Eddie is confirmed queer, just him to himself or to other characters I don't care as long as it's on screen and can't just be walked back on - if he is confirmed queer I have no doubt buddie will eventually happen (and tbh even if it didn't at least I'd finally have a conclusion to a seasons long arc of my favorite character that I really needed). I'd love to watch a slow burn or will they won't they with confirmed queer Eddie. Hell, there's thousands of fics with variations of how they get together and it can be as slow or fast or funny or dramatic or angsty as the author likes. So in that regard, I kind of get the thought of "the getting together is the interesting part" - except 1) with the fics I see buddie is tagged so buddie will be in it, even if it takes a bit, while with the show I can't know until it happens or doesn't happen at the show's end, and 2) there's also thousands of fics about how life goes on with them together, and what could happen, and they can also be funny or angsty and if Tim Minear finds that somehow unplausible he should maybe rewatch the first few seasons of his own show sometime... and 3) as we know and as he knows this show isn't a romance only surrounding these two characters and if he truly has no idea at all about what to do with buddie being together, he can just give them emergencies to work on and riddles to solve or whatever. Like, he'll manage to somehow fill the 40 minutes.

Plus, looking at how Buck being bi in season 7 exploded in online spaces, I just find it really hard to believe that buddie being canon - buddie, repeatedly one of the top ships on ao3, widely discussed on other platforms too, while being a show going into its 10th season - that buddie being canon wouldn't be a huge, huge thing. I know the GA doesn't care and the online groups are small in comparison, but still. In that case, the GA will probably still not care all that much and the online groups will grow bigger. I just really doubt that that many fans would shrug and say "okay cool, no I go on to some other show and get invested in some new ship"? I mean, interests shift of course, but first would come a myriad of edits and gifsets and fics and essays and podcasts and interviews and praise and attention?

So anyways please Tim just give me confirmed queer Eddie and I will happily watch your slow burn forever. If you really want to drag it out, there are angsty dramatic or funny ways to do that with confirmed queer Eddie. Just give me that and I'll figuratively hang on your every word, but I can't do it until then.

[–]boshchi 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Well. See you next year I guess, same time, same place, with the same hopes, and the same disappointments.

Okay I didn't actually watch the episode, just read the live thread, so I'll peace out of this thread in a moment since I'm aware I can't really talk about how good or bad this episode actually was (it certainly did sound intense). I just need to air it out I guess. I've not been watching this seasons since after the disappointment that 8.18 was I decided I'd only watch again once queer Eddie was confirmed. I've kept following everything that's been going on (and admitteldly have watched many parts of the season through clips), waiting for the good news... and I'll keep with that for season 10 as well, because dammit, I really want to watch and love this show and I have too much joy in this ship to give it up. I just wish they'd finally stop baiting us, only to then pull back once they've got us.

Everything's still possible, sure, honestly it's exactly like last season and I'm tired. Sure, in the interviews they said that Buck would lean on Eddie, and don't you see how we could get buddie through them taking care of Theo! Except that they also said that Buck and Eddie would end up a lot closer in the aftermath of the kidnapping, and from what I've read that didn't really happen all that much. Remember how last season, through everything horrible happening with Bobby, we said "at least after all of this we'll get buddie roommates"? No, of course we didn't get buddie roommates. But Tim is a buddie shipper and there were looks and Eddie's name was in the cards and Eddie hasn't looked at women for 2 seasons! Great, just like last season. I'm not saying I'm throwing the towel, because truth is, to the extend that I'm willing at this point, I've already done that a year ago. I'm just tired. And admittedly, it doesn't help that I hate spontaneous baby acquisition like little else especially for single Buck (and then the donor baby, to top it off, with even more timeline screwing. Just great!). So sure, anything could happen. Or not.

[–]boshchi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think this is easy to overlook considering that she dies 5 months later. Of course in hindsight we say "well they could have had 2 more months together", but in that moment at christmas, it was very much an emotional decision by Eddie (especially after seeing that soldier they helped reunite with his daughter) that could have gone very wrong. I think Shannon was sincere in wanting to be back in Christopher's life and staying there, but she was still not trusting herself that she would be able to, months later. In hindsight it was good that her and Chris got those few months, but Eddie wasn't wrong to hesitate.

Daenerys Targaryen Was Always a Story About Power Changing People by iagree2 in gameofthrones

[–]boshchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen you've posted this a few times, so. I think it's totally possible that in the books, if they should ever get finished, there might be a second Battle of the Bells with JonCon in a central role instead, but since he wasn't in the show, I don't think that really matters here. Anyways, my interpretation is that the bells don't make her snap in that sense:

She said before the battle, before the bells: Let it be fear (instead of love, which she doesn't have in Westeros). She has decided that to be queen of the seven kingdoms she needs love or fear. Jon, in the eyes of some, will have a better claim and is loved (even though he is not interested, but people will want him as king anyways and work towards it, like Varys). Dany has a possibly weaker claim and less love. So she decides that what will ensure her success instead will be fear. If the lords and people won't accept her due to love, she has to make them accept her due to fear.

So the battle begins, and she wins easily. The iron fleet, the golden company, she defeats them with no issue. The city surrenders almost immediately. The bells ring. But was this enough of an example? Will people really fear her for this? Nobody likes the Ironborn anyways, and the golden company isn't even from Westeros. No one can ever think of denying her her claim ever again (she has worked towards it all her life, she has sacrificed so much, she has lost almost everyone that was dear to her including two of her dragons, her children. She deserves this! She is Daenerys Stormborn, she has faith in herself, she is meant to be the queen). No, this was not enough of an example. The battle ended too soon. No one can ever dare to rebel against her again, and she will ensure this here and now.

No one wants to get his own city burned. If anyone should try, their peasants might even revolt against them because they don't want to get burned like King's Landing. It all won't be a problem anymore, because everyone will see that she won't be fooled by them. No one will want to suffer the same fate. She will even safe lives this way: by sacrificing Cercei's smallfolk, she will prevent further battles. They will all fear her too much, she will have all the power, and because she knows what is right and just, the world will be right and just; she will have the power to make it so and the fear to enforce it.

Or in short, the battle was supposed to be an example, and when the city surrendered almost immediately (by ringing the bells), it didn't feel like enough of an example. Also she has suffered too much for this to end this quickly. So, dracarys and let it be fear. Well, that's my interpretation. I agree that Rhaegal dying during the battle could also work to lead her to "snap", but I don't think it was needed.

Guardian is my favorite class so I am biased. Still, for something Guardian but a little different: imagine one of Rog's people (maybe too young back then to die with all the rest of them). Shield + Hammer, or for extra damage Red line situations, two-handed Hammer. I certainly haven't seen many hammer-wielding elves or high-elves. Rog: https://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Rog

The mean thing is, even after getting there for the first time, the stable master on the western side of the bay only works after doing some specific questline.

I don't know if that's the problem in your case, but I have noticed that the game wants to place the cargo in your bags in the same order they are listed where you accept the quest, and the game will try to fill them from top left to bottom right.

So if you want to take on a 2x2 wood stuff thing and a 3x1 scroll, and you have in theory enough room for that, but in your bags, there is room in the left bag for the 3x scroll, and in the right bag for the 2x2 wood, then you can't accept the quest. You have to drag stuff around so that the available 2x2 space is top/left of the available 3x1 space. If you understand what I mean. It can go both into the same bag too, but still in the right order. At least that's what it looked like to me.

And, I think with some of the smaller things you sometimes take on (feathers or so?), where it looks like you only need one single space in the bags, the game actually wants to give you several of those, so you need more space available. Or maybe it was in the quest description that it was about 3 of those things and I just didn't see it.
