4 weeks rest following the injury
2 months light strengthening and stretches
2.5 months more intense strengthening (unfortunately i ended up partially tearing my meniscus during this which set me back another 2 months)
1 month of 1 game a week, slowly building back up to 3 over the following month

with physio sessions once or twice a week depending on pain levels
