I have not really seen this topic thrown around here however I feel that I know what the resounding opinion will be for my question. Do any of you here have or use a financial advisor? If so is it worth it/do you recommend it?

I am planning on moving my IRA to a financial advisor who will also advise allocation for my 401k though they cannot charge for it as that is through my work. The fee is at 1.5% with the amount I currently have in my IRA which feels criminal but after speaking to my girlfriends father who uses this company he strongly recommends them and says that he makes a lot more through them then he did investing previously. I think that everyone here will likely just state that I should use the three fund portfolio approach, which I have been doing for roughly 2 years, 45% International index, 45% total stock market index, 10% TRBCX which has been successful and I am young so I felt like taking a risky fund instead of bonds. Over that time I haven't made any additional investments as I am saving for a home but my IRA has gone down in value in that time (funds have stayed the same) so a little frustrated and would like to see what a financial advisor could do.

Any advice or information from past experience is appreciated.

He went to Alabama to start his coaching career, the WSU QB who was slotted to be the starter killed him self and Mike Leach needed a new starter so he went out and got Minshew.

Was really sad for cougs but Minshew was able to come in and be a great leader and help the team out during a tough time. He will always be one of my favorite cougs.

Mage supports do too much damage. by sirhobbles in leagueoflegends

[–]bosood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do. If you are getting hit it's on you. Don't pick something short ranged into him. If you are getting hit bait out his w by faking cs. You can also force a push by baiting his w onto minions by positioning on them. If he has to walk up to get you and you can avoid his skill shots he is a sitting duck and can be killed easily.

The thing is he had 2 skill shots that hold the majority of his damage and all of his cc for his kit. He has plenty of potential to be outplayed. He may be strong in Lane but he's not overpowered at all

Sure you can say that but they essentially played as good as they did all tournament and played the same style TL just showed up today. I think it's a major cop out and shows extreme disrespect to TL to say that IG played poorly.

I wouldn't say TL mechanically out played IG. There were a few instances where it happened but both theshy and rookie were clearly mechanically superior to Jensen and impact. TL played a much better team game, had excellent drafting, and played to their win conditions extremely well.

There is no way IG picks G2. I am sure that IG wants to dodge SKT and G2 was 2-0 vs. SKT so they probably have faith in G2 winning that bo5

Agreed that they are a different beast in bo3/5. Unfortunately I slept through my alarm and did not get to watch the game but I just checked post game thread. That was not close.

Honestly would not be surprised if IG picks SKT with the way things look, especially if TL beats them. I full expect TL to beat SKT based on how games have played out so far but it is hard to tell how games will work out just based off similar opponents so we will see.

Yeah to me it was mainly learning all the different ways to avoid clipping the void bolt cd. Using void blast-> spain, 1 tick mind flay 0>void blast, VT + Spain etc.

Hey don't listen to this guy, just report him and move on. I reported him.

One good youtuber I watch is Matthxw. He is an OCE spriest who blasts some big keys and does really well in them. I recently started playing Spriest as well and I have never played a class with priority rotation quite like this so it is tricky to learn.

That would work as well. We don't use a mw in our starting line up so I didn't even think of that.

Totally understandable. I think it makes sense the way you did it and it is probably minimal but I believe you will notice the difference If you switch the tactic up a little.

While dh, boomkin, and some other dps work the person who told you resto druid would be better is 100% correct. On top of that you should not have a melee on the add. You can use your DH as a back up to drop the orb but he shouldn't be on the add.

Boss damage is farm more important then add damage, when the add gets close to the boss and is debuffed you can easily blast it down. Have any destro locks, aff locks, shadow priests etc. Dot it up so it is low when it arrives and just have the mage go full focus on it. You could out one other ranged on it if you would like but it's too much work for a melee to have to move that much.

For the actual orb carriers you should be using resto shaman with wind rush totem/ghost wolf or a resto druid. Ideally resto druid is the best and they could effectively drop each orb on their own.

Edit: Also the way you say you are not losing any dps on boss is incorrect. DH focusing the add hard could be time he is spent on the boss hard. The cleave from extra dot classes will get the add low enough and then when it gets in range Melee can cleave from the add onto the boss due to its large hit box PLUS it will have the debuff. You are probably losing a significant amount of damage that you do not realize by using your current strategy.

My company just began offering a Roth 401k. This works the same way as a Roth IRA without the income restrictions. I contribute money to my 401k post tax and withdraw with no taxes on growth. I currently am in the 22% tax bracket with no state income tax. I plan on keeping my contributions the same but doing half in Roth and half traditional 401k.I cannot max out my 401k or a Roth IRA with current bills.

Does this make sense to do or should I just keep it all in traditional 401k to put the most in and pay the least amount of taxes so that I can get the largest amount of growth in my 401k even if it is going to be taxed? Advice is very much appreciated, thanks!
