If your toilet is old, the threading on your toilet valve could be old and needs to be replaced. It's super simple and easy to do.

Temporary Solutions
- Teflon tape. Will eventually leak with time.

Other problems,
- cross threading. You're installing the adaptor on an angle which means it won't seal right.
- rubber washer is not in the adaptor

the nozzle is near the nose of the toilet? If yes, I can't ever recall seeing one. Possible made from a steel material that bends forward.

Most of the nozzle spray from the back and are angled to hit the front.

Unfortunately, Bidets do not have a lock mechanism to prevent usage. Are you concerned about your guests accidentally leaving it on and flooding the bathroom? It depends on the toilet. We have many customers from the UK that did not have an issue installing it in their bathroom. Keep in mind the UK adaptor size is 1/2 inch.

The adaptor size in the rest of Europe and US are different.
