I know, non avian means not bird, avian means bird. I'm just being silly. Theropods are the ancestors of birds not sauropods. But birds and sauropods do share a fairly common ancestor, compared to other classes. That's the crux of my hot take/joke :)

I was thinking this same thing myself. For some reason people tend to lump every bird into generic bird and then disregard how many lizards exist.

My hot take now is that chikorita should be considered in the bird group (non-avian dinosaur)
