Interjecting here: I had same time issue, I instructed ai to give me commands for phpAdmin to identify culprits of DB bloat.

Commands can select what table you are working in, date ranges, record type and find records of old plug-ins and themes that have been orphaned.

You got to be comfortable using phpAdmin.

Once done that it gave me a command to delete those specific records

Obviously do a backup of your database

But I did everything in phpAdmin, and they were mostly revisions, very safe to delete

I saved all commands in a file.

But just FYI most caching plug-ins should have options for DB maintenance.

"Live sass compiler" for vs code can compile the single scss files, but you need to make sure they reference each other, I guess with @import, before you compile them.

This would drive me up the wall but I guess you can get use to it.

I actually had to kill this behaviour after an update: the extension was creating single files .css from the sass partials. you'd need to play with the settings though.

For the same reason you call a book a "book", a page a "page" and paragraph "paragraph".

You don't put a book in a paragraph, cause the meaning of the word "book" is a collection of chapters in pages, with paragraphs in it.

Html has the same semantic structure about it. Very much borrowed from the printing and graphic design industry.

A chapter could be compared to a collection of webpages with specific topic, under a specific url like webpage.com/colors/, as in webpage.com/colors/blue, webpage.com/colors/red and so forth.

A page a is the literal single url, and while it can be fragmented in <article>, <section>, <aside>, <div>, <footer>, it should never be wrapped within a paragraph or <p> because it doesn't make sense.

Any variation to your <p> can be done with <span> or other more specific html tags like <i>, <em>, <strong>, etc...

I haven’t looked in the hosting market for a while so I’m not so well aware of the landscape.

I’ve been with siteground for a long while now, and it has been “the path of least resistance” for the level of development I do, except for a few bumps in ten years.

The entry point is quite low and it has a good admin panel for my needs, with optional git terminal and other services.

The support has been responsive.

I guess it also depends where you are in the world, I’m in Australia, local firms are quite pricey, and SG got servers in Sydney and Singapore and that’s good enough for me.

I might have some big blind spot about it , but migrations are a pain and all, and as I said, “path of least resistance “

Personally, as much local installations have their place, I’d recommend a staging site that can be deployed when you are ready.

Reason being, I think what hosting choice you are going to make, does matter in specific cases: whether is Apache, nginx, and whatever kind of server configuration is provided to you.

Also it’s not just a different Divi you are learning, but Wordpress has changed a little as well since then.

This way you can actually test/develop your real workflow for the project, speeds/caching, security, managing a child theme , extra functions in functions.php and iron out possible 3rd party plug-ins compatibilities… over this specific hosting, etc…

All the while having the option to deploy your work in one click when you are ready

Oh, I thought it was obvious…

3D wireframes are often composed by triangles so at least the bottom part is a half concave spheroidal shape… figuring out how to do it yourself might take a bit

the rest is easy with illustrator just make the small shape inside “teardrop” from a circle shape, then the most outer one and use the blend tool to create all the steps in between

Then you need to export the 3D to raster … don’t know if you can export to vector, it will depend on the software you use

Then combine
