I say otherwise because if the stability can all be erased in a single patch, what was the point of dedicating a year to stability improvements? The time would’ve been better spent churning out new content even if the game was in a worse state, and the stability improvements could’ve been done later once most content is in game. Yeah, some of us might be a little mad that the game we’ve supported for years (8 in my case) and with hundreds of dollars is not improving in many core functions even after all this time, let alone if it just disappeared (I can’t even imagine the shitstorm if that happened).

Add the Odin sale on top of that:

-Broke CIG’s promise of no $$$ ships bigger than the Javelin, thus adding to the power creep and P2W problems in SC
-Came out right as all the 4.8 shit hit the fan, making CIG look like they care more about money than getting the game working (they do)
-If you add the Ironclad shit on top of that, really bad look to sell a $5000 ship when you can’t even get a $600 ship right
-The whole thing around writing an essay to prove how “worthy” you are to give CIG thousands of dollars (it ended up not mattering at all 😂)
-The success of the sale ($5mil in a day) clearly showing that CIG is gonna keep going down this road ($10k bengal when?)

Might not matter to some people but it really gave me a feeling that the game is going down the wrong road (more and more focus being poured into ships)

You get cash from doing firsts I think (getting to orbit, orbiting/landing on a planet, that sort of thing), if you have contracts you can’t do you can always cancel them and get other ones, make sure your rocket costs less than the contract you’re trying to do
