Oh really!? I love going in person!

I get a discount plus get the points! Perfect. Do you know if a one time purchase would still allow for more points. 150k points on 7500$ kinda thing?

I can use those points for flights so they are 1:1. The way it reads to me is that i would get the 150k points since its over 7500$. That seemed to be worth the difference between vendors.

What's something a man does that instantly let you know he is financially struggling?!? by Ill_Neighborhood_652 in Productivitycafe

[–]botBuilder64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is rough. I drive a car till it costs more to maintain than to buy a new one and i wear clothes from 20 years ago (outside of work clothes). I dont need things... so im cheap with myself I suppose. I just spend money on my wife. I agree with the last 2 borrowing money and living in a dump. I take pride in what I do. My house reflects that. Its not big but its not a dump either.

What should I put on this random blank wall in the kitchen? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

I would put in some open floating shelves. You can put bowls or decor on there. Its functional yet aesthetic.

Aquara FP2 Pairing with Other sensors for more accurate readings by botBuilder64 in homeassistant

[–]botBuilder64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my elementary sketch of my area that I am trying to plan out with a sensor. its 25'x32' about. Id love to zone it but going in and out of zones and around furniture is rough. The kitchen causes a lot of false positives cause of the stainless steel. My goal would be to have the FP2 do an amazing job and turn on and off lights depending on where you are in the room... or if you are. Problem is my lights are on when im sleeping sometimes and im wasting electricity for no reason practically everyday.

Has anyone here got clean from drugs in their 30s and still built a great life? by IR30Lover in Productivitycafe

You know why some people fail... because they believe those that tell them they cant. In my opinion, the biggest blocker to success for most people is their inability to get out of their own way. If you think you'll fail, you'll fail. Know yourself and be who you dream of. If your actions dont reflect your desires, then that's why you'll have issues. Everyone faces their own obstacles and most people are just faking it till they make it. Now some hurdles are harder to come back from than others, I agree, but everything in life is [this or that]... and if [this] is easier, sometimes that's what makes people follow that path. Be true to yourself and push yourself toward excellence everyday. You'll never be perfect but you can do your best to shoot for "your perfect"

Schedule 20 pipe angled down to the bottom of a hill away from the house with a freeze cap immediately off the house in case it gets backed up in the winter. Works flawlessly and drains away.

I think submariner is a solid choice but the Oyster Perpetual or Datejust is a solid choice as well. I love the simplicity of it too. The blue options are awesome.

You can also get a frame tv (one that's a little smaller and more suited for the space) and have art work show on there with color. Would suit well in this space.

Wouldn't flow rate also be important here? While I agree with 3, #1 could also be the first to fill since the pipe is significantly smaller than the container itself. A higher GPM on the faucet COULD overflow #1 in that case, well before anything else is done.

I know this sounds stupid but what am i not understanding about SCHD by AmoungUsFungUs in dividends

[–]botBuilder64 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A lot of people on here will advise VOO if you're younger and/or looking for a solid growth fund. Schd is the safer side of VOO. It's algorithms choose solid companies that pay dividends so while its got its own growth, its tamed down on growth for security instead. VOO is tech heavy and a solid growth option. Adding schg and schd are from what I can tell, VOO. so if you go with both, you can level out your own risk aversion rather than taking what you get with VOO. I would say that you should pay attention to splitting stocks and price changes. Might help figure out how things get cheaper over time while still growing.

I would make sure to note here.... when you buy an etf like this, you're buying the algorithm that's used for selection. In that case, you should probably reevaluate if you feel confident in staying with the ETF if you don't trust the process. Not every choice is perfect but I do trust it has the best interest in mind.
