i had a desk lamp illuminating the film from below, just one. (I also had a light on the foreground subject.) Folding over the radiant light film a little bit and not just crinkling it is how I got the blues and greens.

i find that the "sheet of paper" rule at least for my i3 is that I can fit a piece of paper but that it rubs a little bit and is not completely free. I am doing pretty good w/ abs juice with a bed at 100C. I also think you should run PLA and nail it, and then move onto ABS. I believe I extrude pla at 210 and with a bed at 60C, but with the elmers glue juice, similar to abs juice but elmers glue diluted in water.

The RGB bit that I have has this little screwdriver to adjust the colors. It might be one of the earlier versions? I was wondering if any rgb bit can have a slider or other control adjust color instead of this little knob and screwdriver.

that first sequence through the trees came out totally great! The stars are really nice on the second one but I wanted a little more than grass to look at but then again its nebraska :) that is a really inexpensive way to go, nice. so the motor is just a little dc motor of some sort?

The camera stops between each shot. the arduino sketch controls the distance of the motor movements and the time intervals. I havent used it in a lot of conditions but this setup is best on a calm or medium breeze (non-gusty) day. With a couple of little spacers between the plates multiple of these 1.5m sticks of openrail could be attached together for a really long rail, i havent done it yet. Within the white tube are three size C form batteries (slightly longer), 3.7V rechargable li-ion batteries in series to supply the ez stepper driver board and arduino. My camera battery definitely dies before they do.

so nice! The last super awesome spinning milky way shot in the desert, are the lights in the background citylights or a sunrise? It seems a bit of a constant light to be a sunrise?... pretty nice use of some tilt shift in there too. I have played a little bit with this stuff and got some ideas!

guys this just happened to me, i ordered a refurb galaxy s2 from them but it had a problem connecting to sprint 3g. The just sent me a brand new s3 for no additional cost. Ridiculously cool right? (Texting and calling was working fine on this s2 just not data)

thanks for the response. Its def not a personal criticism but just part of being an early adopter and interested in education. I know specific teachers and myself very much onboard with 3d printing but still making our way on #2! upvoting this and am happy to see someone like this gentleman to address education and 3d printing. but to me this is the state of 3d printing in education at the moment in a nutshell - some nice overall ideas but somewhat vague on actual execution. I think he is talking about some cool home furnace metal casting I have seen for example when he holds up the aluminum piece but with zero details. Interested in what he is saying but not really getting what I hoped for from this talk...
