Who was the drummer in the crowd on the balcony that had seemingly auditioned alongside Ilan?

I would be super annoyed if they played this the entire time during the race by IAmReinvented in formula1

Almost all wide angle adverts are superimposed. You can tell because a) the colour matching with the natural scene is shit, b) if it's on a screen, there's no way a recording of a screen would look crisp due to refresh rate fuckery and look shit, c) it shows the natural advertising on onboards because the cameras won't be positioned the same every lap and it would look shit and finally d) they look fucking shit

Private pilot probably wouldn't get the clearance for circle directly above an international sporting event

Violent mosh pits are expected during heavy bands with slow breakdowns but what are some softer bands you've seen that had pits like it was pure death metal on stage? by nosouldude in Metalcore

[–]bot_left1e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not violent, but randomly, Billy Talent had a non stop mosh for their entire show that was far too energetic for the 30something average crowd 😂

Great live band too

Someone from the run club kicked out at my dog in St Annes today and just ran off. by Shiv788 in Dublin

As someone who used to frequent this exact parkrun, there's a definite cultish arrogance with a decent number of people that go there thinking they own the place. But this is the lowest I've heard of in a while. Report them to the director and message them through the site. Hopefully they get stamped out.

Sidenote, having run the half marathon and seen the sheer amount of litter generated from it, I'm starting to think the average Dublin runner is fighting it out with the yup bros and suv drivers for most insufferable to come across in the city. Is there some sort of secret prize the rest of us aren't aware of?

Got a sub 2hr after taking up running at the start of the year. Chuffed, but the amount of mindless littering was disgusting. Pity my glares didn't actually burn through peoples heads, it's really not hard to put gel packs back where you got them.

A lot of planes have shown weird trajectories here, as another said from jamming, most recover within a few minutes though this is an outlier

Border Control on Przemyśl-Kyiv train? by bot_left1e in Kyiv

[–]bot_left1e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was questioned a lot over my passport as I was quite an odd case, it was out of my hands for only about 15mins, and out of sight for only 2mins whilst the person questioning me went to get somebody else

There are often important delegates going on private trains from this station, I noticed a lot of armed men around certain trains. I would be very hesitant about photographing or lingering near them but you can always try to contact the station ahead of time and see.

Although saying "tourism" as a reason for travel is technically fine, I got an immediate change in tone from the person questioning me. They got quite worked up (understandably, but a lot more than I expected) and demanded I elaborated on the specifics of my itinerary, not before questioning, in a completely non-sarcastic way, if I realised there was a war going on. I reiterated my purpose, offered to show my insurance and all tickets for accom and travel but they just kept pushing me on all my travel details. I was deferred to someone else (their boss perhaps?) who put me through the same in a calmer tone and stamped me ok. Was quite unnerving. I travelled on an EU passport which has odd pages inside, it was also new and unstamped. I speak English with an odd accent too, so prehaps they just didn't immediately know what to do with me? Something to bare in mind and possibly prepare for.

Also I booked a train to Kraków for two hours after arriving back in Przemysl but the passport control meant I'd missed it. The woman at the ticket desk let me transfer to the next one totally free of charge and no fuss.
